dSIPRouter allows you to quickly turn Kamailio into an easy to use SIP Service Provider platform, which enables two basic use cases:
SIP Trunking services: Provide services to customers that have an on-premise PBX such as FreePBX, FusionPBX, Avaya, etc. We have support for IP and credential based authentication.
Hosted PBX services: Proxy SIP Endpoint requests to a multi-tenant PBX such as FusionPBX or single-tenant such as FreePBX. We have an integration with FusionPBX that make this really easy and scalable!

Try this product free for 30 days according to the free trial terms set by the vendor. Usage-based pricing is in effect for usage beyond the free trial terms. Your free trial gets automatically converted to a paid subscription when the trial ends, but may be canceled any time before that.
Pricing is based on actual usage, with charges varying according to how much you consume. Subscriptions have no end date and may be canceled any time. Alternatively, you can pay upfront for a contract, which typically covers your anticipated usage for the contract duration. Any usage beyond contract will incur additional usage-based costs.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
If you are an AWS Free Tier customer with a free plan, you are eligible to subscribe to this offer. You can use free credits to cover the cost of eligible AWS infrastructure. See AWS Free Tier for more details. If you created an AWS account before July 15th, 2025, and qualify for the Legacy AWS Free Tier, Amazon EC2 charges for Micro instances are free for up to 750 hours per month. See Legacy AWS Free Tier for more details.
You pay by the hour based on the EC2 instance type you run. The software price stays tied to your chosen compute size, so pricing scales with the instance you select. Smaller instances like t2.nano, t3.micro, and t3a.small run lighter workloads at lower hourly rates. Larger instances like x1.32xlarge, c5n.18xlarge, and p2.16xlarge offer more compute, memory, or GPU capacity at higher hourly rates. You can match the instance to your SIP routing demand. Billing stops when you stop the instance, since charges accrue only for hours used. No upfront commitment applies.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What does the hourly rate for each instance type actually pay for?
The hourly rate covers the dSIPRouter software license running on your chosen EC2 instance. One hour of a running instance counts as one billed unit. The rate varies by instance type you select, since larger instances carry more compute, memory, or GPU capacity. AWS infrastructure charges apply separately.
Am I charged while my instance is stopped or paused?
Software charges accrue only for hours the instance runs. When you stop the instance, software billing stops. Hosts in a stopped state may still incur underlying AWS storage fees, but the dSIPRouter license meters running hours only. No upfront commitment applies.
How do I choose which instance type to run dSIPRouter on?
Match the instance to your SIP routing demand. dSIPRouter turns Kamailio into a SIP service provider platform for SIP trunking, hosted PBX, and direct routing. Smaller instances suit lighter call volumes; larger instances handle heavier traffic. You can change instance types as your needs shift.

An AMI is a virtual image that provides the information required to launch an instance. Amazon EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) instances are virtual servers on which you can run your applications and workloads, offering varying combinations of CPU, memory, storage, and networking resources. You can launch as many instances from as many different AMIs as you need.
