Overview
This is a repackaged open-source software product wherein additional charges apply for support with Elm Computing.
OpenFOAM (https://www.openfoam.org ) is an open-source computational fluid dynamics (CFD) toolbox that allows for the modeling and simulation of fluid flow, turbulence, heat transfer, and chemical reactions.
This AMI can be used as a custom AMI for AWS ParallelCluster or as a standalone EC2 instance.

An AMI is a virtual image that provides the information required to launch an instance. Amazon EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) instances are virtual servers on which you can run your applications and workloads, offering varying combinations of CPU, memory, storage, and networking resources. You can launch as many instances from as many different AMIs as you need.

Usage instructions
This AMI provides the pre-compiled OpenFOAM environment.
This AMI can be used as a custom AMI for AWS ParallelCluster or as a standalone EC2 instance.
Once you have created a cluster or launched a standalone EC2 instance, you can SSH into the instance using the username ubuntu.
To set up the OpenFOAM environment, please run the following command:
source /opt/openfoam12/etc/bashrcThis command may take a while to complete.
Once completed, you can verify the OpenFOAM installation with the following command:
foamRun -helpSupport
