Coolify PaaS Server AMI with CI CD and Docker Hosting
Pricing is based on actual usage, with charges varying according to how much you consume. Subscriptions have no end date and may be canceled any time. Alternatively, you can pay upfront for a contract, which typically covers your anticipated usage for the contract duration. Any usage beyond contract will incur additional usage-based costs.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
You pay by the hour for the EC2 instance type you run this Coolify AMI on. The software runs on your chosen instance size, so pricing scales with the compute you pick. Options span general-purpose (t2, t3, t3a, m4, m5, m5a, m6a, m6i, m7a, m7i), compute-optimized (c5, c5a, c6a), and memory-optimized (r5, r5a, r6a, r6i) families. Within each family, larger sizes (medium, large, xlarge) cost more per hour than smaller ones. You deploy through a CloudFormation template and can stop or start the instance anytime to manage runtime costs.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What does one billable hour cover, and am I charged when the instance is stopped?
You pay for each hour the EC2 instance runs the Coolify AMI. If you stop the instance, software charges stop accruing. Underlying AWS storage fees may still apply while the instance is stopped. Restart it anytime to resume both use and hourly billing.
How do I move to a different instance type if my compute needs change?
Pricing follows the instance type you select at deployment through the CloudFormation template. To change size, you launch the AMI again with a different instance type. Back up server data first, since you deploy a fresh stack. Your hourly rate then matches the new instance family and size.
Does the hourly charge include any application, user, or data limits?
No. The hourly rate is tied only to the running instance type, not to users, applications, or data volume. You can host multiple applications and databases on one instance via SSH. Your cost stays fixed per hour regardless of how much you deploy on that instance.

CloudFormation Template (CFT)
AWS CloudFormation templates are JSON or YAML-formatted text files that simplify provisioning and management on AWS. The templates describe the service or application architecture you want to deploy, and AWS CloudFormation uses those templates to provision and configure the required services (such as Amazon EC2 instances or Amazon RDS DB instances). The deployed application and associated resources are called a "stack."
