You pay by the hour for this Windows Server 2025 Datacenter image, with Simplified Chinese as the default display language. Pricing is tied to the AWS EC2 instance type you choose, not to feature tiers. Each dimension maps to one instance size, so your hourly rate scales with the compute, memory, storage, or accelerator capacity of that instance. General-purpose, compute-optimized, memory-optimized, storage-optimized, GPU, and high-memory families are all covered. Larger instances cost more per hour; smaller ones cost less. You run and pay only for the hours the instance is active.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What do I get for the hourly rate on each instance type?
Each dimension maps to one EC2 instance size running this Windows Server 2025 Datacenter image. The hourly rate covers the software licence for that instance. You pick the instance family and size that fits your CPU, memory, storage, or GPU needs, and pay per running hour.
Am I charged when the instance is stopped or shut down?
The software charge meters running hours only. A stopped or powered-off instance does not accrue this hourly software fee. Underlying AWS storage and other resource charges may still apply while the instance is stopped, but those come from AWS separately, not from this software listing.
Is the display language fixed to Simplified Chinese, or can I switch it?
The default display language is Simplified Chinese. You can change the operating system to English during first boot by supplying a PowerShell script in the instance user data. This adds a reboot, so initial startup takes slightly longer. Pricing does not change based on the language you use.

An AMI is a virtual image that provides the information required to launch an instance. Amazon EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) instances are virtual servers on which you can run your applications and workloads, offering varying combinations of CPU, memory, storage, and networking resources. You can launch as many instances from as many different AMIs as you need.

Usage instructions
Note: For all Avora Windows AMI products, the default login username is Administrator.
Remote Desktop Connection
What to expect
First boot time: the instance may take 5-10 minutes to finish initialization before RDP is available.
How to connect: use Windows Remote Desktop (mstsc) or another RDP client, open the .rdp file from the EC2 console, and sign in with the Administrator account and the decrypted password.
Security: ensure the instance security group allows RDP (TCP 3389) or use a secure bastion/jump host. Use the EC2 console to decrypt the initial Administrator password.
To change the OS language to English (en-US) at first boot, provide a PowerShell script as user data when launching the instance. This change triggers an additional system restart and increases initialization time.
Paste the script into the User data field when launching the instance in the EC2 console. Because the script restarts the machine, expect a longer first-boot time.
