Pricing
Pricing is based on the duration and terms of your contract with the vendor, and additional usage. You pay upfront or in installments according to your contract terms with the vendor. This entitles you to a specified quantity of use for the contract duration. Usage-based pricing is in effect for overages or additional usage not covered in the contract. These charges are applied on top of the contract price. If you choose not to renew or replace your contract before the contract end date, access to your entitlements will expire.

This contract has two pricing groups. First, seven platform tiers (SEIS1 through SEIS7) are priced by your student population. You pick the tier matching your enrollment size, from 3,500 or fewer students up to 20,000 and above. Second, five usage-based add-ons bill for what you actually consume. These cover outbound data transfer, database storage, and data lake storage, each per 1GB. They also cover SMS text messaging per message and email messaging per 1,000 emails. Your total combines one population tier with any usage that applies.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
You select the SEIS tier matching your student population, from SEIS1 (3,500 or fewer) up to SEIS7 (20,000 and above). Each tier covers a defined enrollment band. If your population grows beyond your tier's range, you move to the tier covering your new size. The whole population maps to one tier.
Outbound data transfer, database storage, and data lake storage each bill per 1GB consumed. SMS text messaging bills per individual message sent. Email messaging bills per 1,000 emails sent. You are charged based on actual consumption for each of these five items.
Your SEIS population tier is a fixed charge based on enrollment size and forms the base cost. The five usage add-ons bill on top, scaling with how much data you transfer and store, plus how many messages and emails you send. Communication-heavy campaigns raise messaging and email charges. All charges appear together.
