AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
Pricing is based on the duration and terms of your contract with the vendor. This entitles you to a specified quantity of use for the contract duration. If you choose not to renew or replace your contract before it ends, access to these entitlements will expire.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
This listing offers one pricing dimension: BYC Enterprise, billed by Units under a contract. You deploy the hosted dataplane in your own environment, with each node sized up to 2TB. Pricing scales by the number of Units you commit to, so you add Units as your capacity needs grow. Because the dataplane runs in your VPC, clones and snapshots stay within your network. There are no separate tiers or add-ons in this listing — you buy the single Enterprise dataplane option in the quantity you need.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What does one Unit of BYC Enterprise cover?
Each Unit maps to one hosted dataplane node, sized up to 2TB. The dataplane runs the copy-on-write branching engine in your own environment. You add Units as your source data grows beyond a single node's 2TB capacity, so counting Units means counting the nodes you deploy.
Does creating many clones increase my Unit count or cost?
No. Clones are zero-copy by default and use copy-on-write, so branches do not duplicate storage upfront. You can spin up hundreds of parallel branches from one source within a node. Your Unit count reflects the dataplane nodes you deploy, not the number of clones you create.
Which database engines can the dataplane connect to under this contract?
The dataplane connects to several engines, including common relational, document, and analytical databases. It reads from your source read-only, so your data stays in place. The 2TB-per-node sizing applies regardless of engine, and one node can serve branches from a single source.
