You pay by the hour based on the AWS EC2 instance you run this graph analytics platform on. Billing is pay-as-you-go, so charges reflect the capacity and hours you use. The dimensions map to two instance families. The t3 and t3a options are general-purpose sizes ranging from small through 2xlarge. The c7a options are compute-focused sizes ranging from large through 16xlarge. Larger instances offer more processing power and memory, which suits bigger graphs and more complex queries. You choose the size that fits your workload, and hourly rates rise with instance size.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What does one hourly unit cover, and what am I actually paying for?
Each unit is one hour of running one EC2 instance of the size you pick. The software runs in-memory on that instance. Larger instances give more cores and memory. The hourly charge covers software use on that instance size for each hour it runs.
Am I charged when my instance is stopped or paused?
Software charges meter running instance-hours. When you stop the instance, hourly software charges stop accruing. Underlying AWS storage or other resource fees may still apply while the instance is stopped, but the platform bills only for time the instance runs.
How do I pick the right instance size for my graph workload?
Size choice depends on graph size and query complexity. The platform runs entirely in-memory, so bigger graphs and unbounded searches need more memory and cores. Compute-focused c7a sizes suit heavy processing. General-purpose t3 and t3a sizes suit smaller graphs. Larger sizes cost more per hour.

An AMI is a virtual image that provides the information required to launch an instance. Amazon EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) instances are virtual servers on which you can run your applications and workloads, offering varying combinations of CPU, memory, storage, and networking resources. You can launch as many instances from as many different AMIs as you need.
Launch and go to the homepage at the AWS instance's public IP (use http, not https). The services may take 2-5 minutes to launch and will display loading warnings in the meanwhile.
You should see Mission Control once the service has finished launching.
RESTART
Use AWS console to stop/start/restart, or SSH in as user ec2-user and run docker-compose restart
