You pay by the hour based on the ARM64-based EC2 instance you run this software on. All 18 options bill the same way; they differ only by instance size and family. The t4g options are burstable general-purpose instances ranging from nano through 2xlarge. The m7g options are general-purpose instances from medium through 16xlarge. The m7gd options add local storage, spanning medium through 4xlarge. Larger instances offer more vCPUs and memory for bigger graphs, so cost scales with the compute capacity you select. You pay only for hours used.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What does one hour of billing cover on any of these instances?
You pay for each hour the software runs on one ARM64-based EC2 instance. Billing meters running time, not queries or data volume. The rate matches the instance type you choose. Larger instance types carry a higher hourly rate because they provide more vCPUs and memory.
Am I charged when my instance is stopped or paused?
The software charge meters running hours only, so a fully stopped instance stops accruing the software fee. Underlying AWS charges, such as storage tied to the instance, may still apply while it is stopped. You pay only for the capacity and duration you use.
How should I pick an instance size for my graph workload?
This platform runs in-memory, so graph size drives your memory needs. Bigger graphs, measured mainly by edge count, need instances with more memory and vCPUs. The m7gd options add local storage, while t4g options are burstable. Choose the size that fits your dataset, since cost scales with capacity.

An AMI is a virtual image that provides the information required to launch an instance. Amazon EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) instances are virtual servers on which you can run your applications and workloads, offering varying combinations of CPU, memory, storage, and networking resources. You can launch as many instances from as many different AMIs as you need.
Launch and go to the homepage at the AWS instance's public IP (use http, not https). The services may take 2-5 minutes to launch and will display loading warnings in the meanwhile.
You should see Mission Control once the service has finished launching.
RESTART
Use AWS console to stop/start/restart, or SSH in as user ec2-user and run docker-compose restart
