AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
Pricing is based on the duration and terms of your contract with the vendor, and additional usage. You pay upfront or in installments according to your contract terms with the vendor. This entitles you to a specified quantity of use for the contract duration. Usage-based pricing is in effect for overages or additional usage not covered in the contract. These charges are applied on top of the contract price. If you choose not to renew or replace your contract before the contract end date, access to your entitlements will expire.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
This listing uses a prepaid bucket model billed under a contract. You buy a bucket of 200 million license requests upfront, covering DRM licensing across Widevine, FairPlay Streaming, and PlayReady. A license request is counted when a playback session starts a request for a video license; with key rotation, each new license counts too. If your usage goes beyond the prepaid bucket volume, those extra license requests are charged at the same per-tier rate. So pricing has two parts: the prepaid bucket you commit to, plus overage charges that apply only when you exceed it.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What counts as one license request for billing?
A license request is counted when an end user starts a session that initiates a video license request. When key rotation is used, such as for live streaming, each key rotation that signals a new license request counts as another request.
How is a unit defined when I exceed the prepaid bucket volume?
Beyond your prepaid bucket, one unit equals 1,000 extra license requests. A new unit of 1,000 is triggered the moment the first request in that batch is used. These extra units are charged at the same per-tier rate.
Are there separate setup or support fees on top of the subscription?
No, there are zero setup fees beyond the standard subscription fee. Detailed documentation is included. Consulting, testing, and integration support are separate from this offer and must be purchased directly from the vendor.

What do you like best about the product?
The service has proven stable and reliable, with annual costs that remain reasonable. The UI/UX is well-designed, offering useful insights that help us quickly diagnose issues when they arise.
What do you dislike about the product?
We have 24/7 Support (Gold SLA). While it covers the essentials, we feel there is room for improvement to better match the premium support experience we receive from other partners in our OTT ecosystem. That said, Castlabs support has been flexible in how requests are scoped, even though some investigations may still require an integration support package.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
DRMtoday reliably meets our core content protection needs and provides a stable DRM foundation for our TV platform. That consistency lets us focus our attention on other parts of our OTT ecosystem, confident that DRM is one less thing we need to worry about.
