AI-powered CloudWatch metric monitoring with automated anomaly detection, configurable alerting, and multi-account support. Subscribe to metrics, visualize baselines and trends, and receive intelligent alerts when behavior deviates from expected patterns - all managed through a simple web editor behind your existing AWS identity.
Stop writing CloudWatch alarms by hand. AI Monitor learns what normal looks like for each metric and alerts you when something changes - no thresholds to guess, no alarm sprawl to maintain.
Deploy in under 10 minutes via CloudFormation. AI Monitor runs as a guest on your existing Log Processor stack - sharing its VPC and OpenSearch domain - so there's no additional infrastructure to provision or pay for. Point it at your CloudWatch metrics, and within days per-metric baselines form automatically using day-of-week patterns. Anomaly alerts start flowing to your inbox via SNS with enough context to act immediately.
How it works: CloudWatch Metric Streams feed real-time data through Firehose into the shared OpenSearch domain. A serverless detection pipeline scores every metric against learned baselines using Z-score analysis, fires alerts on deviations, and optionally generates AI-powered explanations via Amazon Bedrock describing what happened and likely why.
What you get:
Subscription Editor UI - add metrics in clicks, not YAML. Discovery Wizard finds what's running; AI Suggest takes natural language ("monitor my Lambda health") and builds subscriptions for you.
Wildcard dimensions - one subscription covers all functions, all instances, all queues. New resources are picked up automatically.
Maintenance windows - suppress alerts during deploys.
Anomaly viewer with CloudWatch deep links, version history with one-click rollback, and scheduled email reports.
Cross-account monitoring - ingest metrics from multiple AWS accounts into a single view (Advanced+).
Log correlation - links metric anomalies to related errors in Log Processor (Compact+).
RBAC via Cognito groups - admin and viewer roles for team access control (Advanced+).
Minimal incremental cost. By leveraging Log Processor's existing VPC, OpenSearch cluster, and networking, AI Monitor adds only lightweight Lambda functions, a DynamoDB table, and a Firehose stream. No duplicate infrastructure.
Your data stays in your account. No external SaaS dependencies. The entire stack runs within your AWS environment using Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, SNS, Firehose, and the shared OpenSearch domain.
Five tiers from Basic to Enterprise. Start monitoring in minutes. Upgrade at any time through AWS Marketplace - configuration and data are preserved across updates.
Highlights
Guest deployment on Log Processor - no new infrastructure. Shares the existing VPC and OpenSearch domain, adding only lightweight Lambda functions and a Firehose stream. Minimal incremental cost.
AI-powered anomaly detection with zero threshold tuning. Learns per-metric, day-of-week baselines automatically and alerts on deviations using Z-score analysis - no manual alarm configuration required.
Natural language Discovery Wizard and wildcard subscriptions. Describe what you want to monitor in plain English, or use dimension wildcards to cover all resources automatically - new functions, instances, and queues are picked up without config changes.
AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
Pricing is based on the duration and terms of your contract with the vendor. This entitles you to a specified quantity of use for the contract duration. If you choose not to renew or replace your contract before it ends, access to these entitlements will expire.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
AI Monitor uses five contract tiers billed as a flat monthly software fee per tier, priced by Units. The tiers stack in order: Basic, Essential, Compact, Advanced, and Enterprise. Each higher tier includes everything in the one below plus more capacity and features. The main scaling factor is the number of metric subscriptions allowed, which grows from Basic through Enterprise. Higher tiers also add capabilities like faster detection intervals, cross-account metrics, AI-assisted features, and single sign-on. You pay the software fee only; AWS infrastructure costs are billed separately by AWS.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What counts as one metric subscription for billing across the tiers?
A subscription monitors one metric with chosen dimensions. Using regex wildcards in dimension values, a single subscription can monitor many resources independently, each with its own baseline. Tier limits count subscriptions, not the underlying resources. Basic allows 15, rising through the tiers to 1,000 at Enterprise.
If I outgrow my tier's subscription limit, do I upgrade automatically or manually?
You change tiers manually by updating the CloudFormation stack with a new tier parameter. Subscription limits, detection intervals, and feature gates update immediately. Your baselines and anomaly history are preserved in DynamoDB, so no learning is lost during the change.
Does the tier software fee cover all my costs, or are there extra AWS charges?
You pay the flat monthly software fee per tier only. AWS infrastructure services like Metric Streams, Firehose, S3, Lambda, and DynamoDB are billed directly by AWS. OpenSearch is shared with your Log Processor stack, so no separate cluster cost applies. AI features on advanced tiers add small per-query charges.
