Cost visibility has transformed how our teams optimize workloads and reduce cloud expenses

    Reviewed on Jul 03, 2026
    Review provided by PeerSpot

What is our primary use case?

In my previous organization, we had an EKS cluster where many workloads were running, and some of the workloads were not being properly utilized due to scheduling issues. We wanted to leverage that to cut costs, and Amnic - Cloud Cost Observability Platform  helped significantly in this area.

Cost saving is one major benefit, and time savings are another because redevelopment did not happen. Developers started utilizing the workloads properly, which saved costs and time in both ways.

There was an instance where people were looking to grow the team for this. Once Amnic - Cloud Cost Observability Platform  was involved, a lot of money was saved on resources and other aspects.

    What is most valuable?

Amnic - Cloud Cost Observability  Platform is a cost observability platform where data observability and log platforms are different, but it proved helpful for my use case in my previous organization, though it is not applicable to my current situation.

Amnic - Cloud Cost Observability  Platform offers many features, but one of the good aspects I appreciate is that you can connect to any cloud-based solutions without leaving your footprint or compromising security. This is a really cool feature.

When tools come with their own data agents, we prefer not to get into agents being installed in our environment and figuring out what is working or not working. Amnic - Cloud Cost Observability Platform does not work that way. The team was initially hesitant, but it worked effectively because they only needed a configuration for it. This was one of the cool features.

People have started looking into data observability in recent times. When Amnic - Cloud Cost Observability Platform arrived with the cost observability platform features, it had really cool capabilities, and being on the technical side, it really helped most of the team.

    What needs improvement?

Over the last year, Amnic - Cloud Cost Observability Platform might have made many changes, but one thing I identified is that if I am not really used to workloads for different kinds of tech stacks, and new technologies come, it would be helpful if Amnic - Cloud Cost Observability Platform provides those feature evolutions or comparable parity.

Amnic - Cloud Cost Observability Platform's governance and security are really good at this point in time, but with the AI world, things may change drastically. However, as of now, it is good.

Regarding Amnic - Cloud Cost Observability Platform's AI capabilities, any AI tools will rely on past data presentations and prospects, so I would say there is about ninety-five to ninety-nine percent reliability, but manual intervention and checks still need to be there.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

Amnic - Cloud Cost Observability Platform is stable.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

Amnic - Cloud Cost Observability Platform's scalability is a tough question to answer, but for our use case, it was really good, so I would say it is better and good.

How are customer service and support?

The customer support from Amnic - Cloud Cost Observability Platform was really nice.

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

We have not used any other solutions before Amnic - Cloud Cost Observability Platform.

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

My experience with pricing, setup costs, and licensing has been really good with a TAM involved, and it was a really good experience when we were introduced. Overall, the team was very supportive.

Which other solutions did I evaluate?

I did not evaluate other options before choosing Amnic - Cloud Cost Observability Platform.

What other advice do I have?

The team was very helpful and guided us on how to leverage the tool, and it was pretty good.

Amnic - Cloud Cost Observability Platform is deployed in the on-premises cloud in my organization.

If you are figuring out how your resource costs can be saved through real-time basis analysis, Amnic - Cloud Cost Observability Platform is a really good tool. However, if your workloads are frequent, it may not be needed.

Amnic - Cloud Cost Observability Platform is a good tool, and companies can leverage it in a better way.

I would rate this review an eight out of ten.
