Pricing is based on actual usage, with charges varying according to how much you consume. Subscriptions have no end date and may be canceled any time. Alternatively, you can pay upfront for a contract, which typically covers your anticipated usage for the contract duration. Any usage beyond contract will incur additional usage-based costs.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
If you are an AWS Free Tier customer with a free plan, you are eligible to subscribe to this offer. You can use free credits to cover the cost of eligible AWS infrastructure. See AWS Free Tier for more details. See Legacy AWS Free Tier for more details.
This listing bills on an hourly usage basis tied to a single compute dimension: the t3.micro instance. You pay for each hour the software runs on that instance size in AWS GovCloud. There are no tiers or upfront commitments to choose from. The product is a cloud-native installer that helps you deploy and manage Liferay DXP in your own cloud environment. Because pricing is hourly and self-hosted, your total cost scales with how long you keep the instance running.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What does the t3.micro dimension actually give me for each hour billed?
You pay for one t3.micro compute instance running in AWS GovCloud, charged by the hour. The t3.micro is a small AWS instance size. This dimension covers the software running on that instance. The underlying AWS compute and storage are billed by AWS separately.
Am I charged when the t3.micro instance is stopped or idle?
Hourly software charges apply only while the instance runs. A fully stopped instance stops accruing the software fee. Note that stopped instances may still incur AWS storage costs for attached volumes, but the software meter counts running hours only.
What is not managed for me under this self-hosted installer?
You run and manage the deployment in your own cloud. Liferay does not host or manage the infrastructure, upgrades, or day-to-day operations for this model. The installer provides tools to deploy and scale Liferay DXP, but your team owns infrastructure, security, and updates.

Amazon EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) instances are virtual servers on which you can run your applications and workloads, offering varying combinations of CPU, memory, storage, and networking resources.
