Pricing is based on the duration and terms of your contract with the vendor, and additional usage. You pay upfront or in installments according to your contract terms with the vendor. This entitles you to a specified quantity of use for the contract duration. Usage-based pricing is in effect for overages or additional usage not covered in the contract. These charges are applied on top of the contract price. If you choose not to renew or replace your contract before the contract end date, access to your entitlements will expire.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
This contract covers electronic invoicing for point-of-sale (POS) systems, with cloud and government approval plus an SLA. You pay a one-time setup charge for each POS you add. Ongoing per-POS fees scale by volume band: 2 to 20, 21 to 100, 101 to 500, and 501 or more POS units. Higher volume bands cover more POS systems under the same tier structure. Separate line items let you add POS systems within each band and set up individual units. You combine these dimensions based on how many POS systems you operate.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What counts as one POS unit for billing?
A POS unit is a single point of sale you register in the system. This can be a physical counter or a digital sales channel, since the software handles both. Each POS you connect counts separately toward your volume band, whether it is an in-store terminal or an online storefront.
What happens to my per-POS fee when I add POS systems and cross a volume band?
Per-POS fees follow the band your count falls into: 2 to 20, 21 to 100, 101 to 500, or 501 and up. When you add POS systems and cross into a higher band, the corresponding band's per-POS fee applies. Separate add line items cover the extra POS systems within each band.
How do the setup charges and the ongoing per-POS fees combine on my bill?
Two charge types apply together. You pay a one-time setup charge for each POS you configure. You then pay a recurring per-POS fee based on your total POS count and its volume band. Setup charges are one-shot; the per-POS fees repeat under the contract.
