Overview
Code Janitor does the repository maintenance work of a dedicated platform engineer - at a fraction of the cost. It deploys entirely within your AWS account and connects to your GitHub organization to continuously analyze, report on, and remediate code quality issues across your entire repository portfolio.
Key Capabilities:
Automated Repository Analysis - Continuously scan repositories for code quality issues, security vulnerabilities, outdated dependencies, and technical debt. Get actionable insights without manual code reviews.
AI-Powered Task Execution - Define maintenance tasks in natural language and let Code Janitor's LangGraph-based agent execute them across multiple repositories. Update dependencies, enforce coding standards, apply security patches, and open pull requests - all at scale.
Bring Your Own LLM - Code Janitor works with any LLM provider: OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Vertex AI, Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, or any OpenAI-compatible endpoint. You supply the API key; you control the costs. No token markup, no vendor lock-in.
MCP Tool Integrations - Extend agent capabilities with Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers. Install Claude Code, GitHub, PostgreSQL, and other tools from the built-in marketplace with a single click.
GitHub Integration - Seamless integration with the GitHub API for repository operations, pull request management, and issue tracking. Works with GitHub.com organizations.
AWS-Native Deployment - Deploys in your AWS account using ECS Fargate, RDS PostgreSQL, and ElastiCache Redis. Includes Application Load Balancer, AWS Secrets Manager for credential management, CloudWatch logging, and optional custom domain with ACM-managed SSL. Supports Bring-Your-Own-VPC for existing network environments.

CloudFormation - Deploy to AWS ECS Fargate
- Amazon ECS
Container image
Containers are lightweight, portable execution environments that wrap server application software in a filesystem that includes everything it needs to run. Container applications run on supported container runtimes and orchestration services, such as Amazon Elastic Container Service (Amazon ECS) or Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (Amazon EKS). Both eliminate the need for you to install and operate your own container orchestration software by managing and scheduling containers on a scalable cluster of virtual machines.
