You pay by the hour based on the EC2 instance size you choose. The eight options are t2 and t3 instance families in four sizes each: micro, small, medium, and large. Each size pairs a set amount of compute and memory with the software license. Larger sizes handle more concurrent client connections and carry a higher hourly rate. Your total cost combines the AWS EC2 compute charge with the software licensing fee. Billing runs on usage, so you pay only for the hours the instance runs.

What does one hourly charge cover for each instance size?
Each hour covers one running EC2 instance plus the software license. The instance size sets the compute and memory allotted. You pay one combined rate that adds the AWS compute charge and the software licensing fee for the hours the instance runs.
Am I charged for the software license when the instance is stopped?
The software license meters running hours only. A stopped or powered-off instance does not accrue hourly software charges. You may still incur underlying AWS storage fees for the attached EBS volume, since that data persists while the instance is not running.
Do I pay extra for more client connections or additional regions?
No. Pricing is per instance-hour for the size you run. Adding more remote clients does not add charges, though larger sizes handle more concurrent connections. Running the server in another region still bills the same hourly way. It is a single EC2 instance you can deploy in any VPC.

Usage instructions
Create a new client on this server.
Copy the contents of the client script onto the client system as a new script and make it executable.
Run the newly generated client script on the client system.
Connect to the client system from the Reverse SSH Server by connecting to the locally forwarded SSH local port.
The Reverse SSH Server does not require any external or third-party packages to work. Client scripts that are generated do require autossh to be installed on the client system however, autossh will automatically install if needed.
