Secure, Interoperable, but Complex Setup

  • April 29, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I really like the interoperability feature of Pexip. It's the best for letting people join the same meeting even if they're using different platforms. The security and encryption are strong as well. The end-to-end encryption level is impressive. Also, I appreciate the browser-based joining, which helps me to join directly from the browser.
What do you dislike about the product?
I try using flexible video conferencing, but it didn't work very smoothly for me. Because the setup is quite complex compared to the platform and the are not very intuitive. I also face some difficulty understanding the configuration and features in English. So it seemed powerful, but not very beginner friendly or suitable or casual users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Pexip for secure communication and enterprise-level meetings, enjoying its interoperability, strong encryption, and the convenience of joining from the browser.

Seamless Cross-Platform Video Collaboration with Pexip

  • April 16, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Pexip for video conferencing and collaboration, and I really appreciate its ability to seamlessly connect different video conferencing platforms like Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and Google Meet. It's great for joining meetings from different conferencing tools in one place, and it helps manage virtual meeting rooms efficiently. The interoperability feature stands out because it eliminates compatibility issues and makes it super easy to join meetings without any friction. I also value the reliability and consistent audio-video quality. The platform is easy to use across devices, which makes it a practical solution for diverse collaboration needs. The initial setup was relatively smooth with a structured process for basic configurations, making it easy to get started with core functionality. Overall, Pexip ensures high-quality video and audio collaboration, simplifying cross-platform communication and making remote meetings more flexible and efficient.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Pexip works well for cross-platform video conferencing, some areas could be enhanced. The interface could be more intuitive for first-time users, and certain advanced settings may require a bit of familiarity to use effectively. For the user interface, simplifying the layout and making key actions (like joining meetings, switching layouts, or accessing controls) more clearly visible would help new users navigate the platform more easily. A more modern design with clearer icons and guided prompts could also reduce the initial learning curve.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Pexip to connect different video platforms like Teams, Zoom, and Google Meet, solving compatibility issues and allowing seamless, reliable communication across devices and systems. It simplifies cross-platform meetings, enhances audio-video quality, and makes remote collaboration efficient.

Reliable Bridge for Seamless Video Interoperability

  • March 06, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I really like how Pexip reliably solves our biggest pain point with true cross-platform video interoperability without sacrificing security or performance. It just works every single time. Our team uses a mix of Microsoft Teams, legacy SIP/H.323 room systems, and our external partners regularly join from Zoom or Google Meet. Before Pexip, we spent 10–15 minutes of every meeting troubleshooting connections. Now people join from any platform, on any device, with zero friction. That consistency has made a huge difference in how we run meetings internally and with clients. I also appreciate that Pexip acts as a universal bridge, letting any device, any platform, any system join the same meeting seamlessly. It helps our old room systems talk to Teams, allows clients on Zoom to join without links or plugins, and remote employees can use whatever software they prefer. Plus, it keeps us from having to replace our existing hardware to work with modern tools. It was also very easy to set up initially.
What do you dislike about the product?
The biggest pain point is the user interface and admin dashboard. It’s very technical and IT‑focused, which means it’s not intuitive for non‑technical team leads or meeting organizers. Simple tasks like setting up a temporary meeting room, updating settings, or pulling basic usage reports often require deeper navigation or even help from IT. It works, but it’s not nearly as polished or user‑friendly as consumer‑grade platforms like Zoom or Teams. First, better out-of-the-box integration with Microsoft Teams would be huge. Right now it works, but it’s not as seamless as native solutions. Things like meeting chat sync, background effects, and real-time presence status don’t carry over as smoothly as we’d like. Making those features feel native instead of bridged would eliminate small but frequent user frustrations. Second, simpler self-service tools for non-admin users. Right now, almost everything requires IT support. If team leads could create, edit, or delete temporary meeting rooms, adjust access settings, or pull basic usage reports on their own, that would reduce our IT team’s workload dramatically. Too many simple tasks are locked behind admin-level permissions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Pexip solves our interoperability issues by acting as a universal bridge for all video conferencing platforms. It lets us connect effortlessly from any device, saving time and enhancing professionalism. It also provides secure meetings, supporting on-prem and private cloud infrastructure, maintaining control over data.

Bridges Platforms Seamlessly, But Setup Challenges

  • February 04, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Pexip mainly to bridge the gap between different meeting platforms, and it's my go-to for joining Microsoft Teams or Google Meet calls from our high-end Cisco conference room hardware without any compatibility headaches. It solves the interoperability nightmare by eliminating technical friction, like the "can you hear me?" or "I can't see the screen" issues that usually waste the first ten minutes of a meeting. One of the best things is the One-Touch Join feature. It's a lifesaver to walk into a room and just hit a single button on the touch panel to start the meeting, regardless of whether it's hosted on Teams, Zoom, or Meet. This feature basically removes the "tech anxiety" for my team since they only have to see the meeting name and tap, saving at least 5 minutes of setup time every single call, which adds up fast across the whole office.
What do you dislike about the product?
While the core functionality is solid, the initial setup and configuration can be a bit of a steep learning curve. It's definitely not a 'plug-and-play' solution for someone without a solid IT background; you really need to know your way around network settings and video infrastructure to get it running perfectly. The initial setup felt a bit like putting together a complex puzzle without the picture on the box. We ran into some hurdles with firewall configurations and certificate management, which required a lot of back-and-forth between our network team and the Pexip documentation. It definitely expects you to have a high level of technical expertise right out of the gate. It's not exactly a walk in the park at first. I definitely hit a few speed bumps during the initial setup–it's the kind of software that expects you to know your way around network configurations and certificates right out of the gate. There were definitely moments where I was staring at the documentation wondering if I'd missed a step.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Pexip to bridge different meeting platforms, solving interoperability issues. It eliminates setup hassles, saving meeting time. The One-Touch Join reduces tech anxiety and setup time by showing the meeting name to tap, saving 5 minutes per call.

Robust Security and Interoperability with Slightly Steep Learning

  • February 02, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like Pexip's strong security, which makes our meetings safer, and I appreciate its seamless integration with other video platforms. The consistent call quality, even in large meetings, is impressive. Using Pexip with tools like Microsoft Teams and other standard video conferencing platforms has improved our interoperability and collaboration. It's a strong, secure platform with great interoperability.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the interface could be more intuitive, and there’s room to improve ease of setup and simplify advanced configuration options. They could streamline the dashboard with clearer navigation, reduce the number of steps for common tasks, add guided setup wizards, and provide more in-app tips or presets to make advanced configurations easier for non-technical users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Pexip solves security issues, interoperability with video platforms, and ensures reliable performance for large, high-quality meetings. It makes meetings safer, reduces compatibility issues, and ensures smooth communication with many participants.

I really like how smoothly it handles large meetings without quality issues. Pexip offers better security and smoother cross-platform meetings. I’d give it a 9 because it’s reliable, secure, and handles meetings across different platforms really well.
What do you dislike about the product?
The setup can feel a bit complex at first, and the interface could be more user-friendly.

Effortless Compliance with Region-Locked Cloud Nodes

  • February 01, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate Pexip’s region-locked cloud nodes and native GDPR/PDPA compliance, which is a game-changer for our US team. The geographically distributed cloud node infrastructure is crucial, eliminating compliance risks and manual work that troubled us with other tools. The initial setup was streamlined and enterprise-focused, which helped our US-led global team easily manage EU, APAC, and US regions.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the cumbersome multi-region node/access setup a bit challenging. To host a global event with region-optimized nodes, our US team has to create separate Pexip event links for each region and manually share them via Convay/EU/APAC channels. There’s no 'one-click global event' creator that auto-assigns regional nodes, generates region-specific links, and centralizes registration, which adds 1–2 hours of setup time per global event.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Pexip eliminates compliance risks in cross-region video collaboration, ensuring GDPR/PDPA compliance by storing data in the host region. It reduces manual compliance work and provides audit trails, which is crucial for our team handling global video calls.
