I think all goods about it but maybe we can improve in term of performance when working with large dataset, and customisation options can have a learning curve.

Cognos's robust reporting handles complex financial data structures and large transaction volumes without breaking down, giving our team confidence that the numbers presented to leadership and regulators are accurate and reliable.

What do you dislike about the product?

A few specific areas — real-time data refresh could be faster, which matters in a banking environment where data changes rapidly. The mobile experience needs significant improvement for on-the-go report access. Also, better out-of-the-box financial and banking-specific report templates would save our team considerable setup time.

Better real-time data refresh capabilities would be a big improvement - for a live agent assist platform, near-instant data updates matter and Cognos can lag behind.

I find IBM Cognos Analytics better suited for structured, enterprise-grade reporting needs, especially compared to my previous experience with Microsoft Power BI.

It is just like PowerBI to create a dashboard for data visualization. It is easy to use and the interface is slick.

The cost and price tag. My institution uses the Microsoft products and PowerBI comes in for free.

It's effective at showcasing my research findings for stakeholders, helping back up my research. The initial setup was very easy, and I’m quite satisfied with how well it meets my needs.

Cognos Analytics is a great and powerful BI tool that can help drive anyones organizations to connect disparate data sources, govern analytics securely, and distribute pixel-perfect enterprise reports.

What do you dislike about the product?

The downfall to Cognos is that there is a larger learning curve to the tool than other competitors on the market. It takes a bit more technical background to set up and develop in it.
