What do you like best about the product?
I love this platform for its wide range of abilities to analyze data to a more resourceful out. The best I love about this platform is the capacity to build visualization by drag dropping the data set. It enables faster understanding of raw data to information in no time. Other than its capabilities I love the way in which it can be customized to make the platform more comfortable for users. Its AI also assist a lot in providing deeper insights with ease. Though there are many commendable features about this platform, Its worth mentioning about the security features it provides. I can also say that the platform is user friendly and allows user to easily monitor.
What do you dislike about the product?
I love most part of this platform but I wish that this the price was a little bit low. The user also needs to spend a good amount of time utilizing this platform to excel in using this platform.

Cognos analytics makes it easy to pull consistent reports from multiple data sources, Once set up it's stable and fast, and the dashboard tools helps turn complex data into clear visuals for management, I use it a couple of times every week

Some configuration requires technical skill, but once built, report run smoothly without constant maintenance

What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy is to build a dashboard within minutes when data is available. I was impressed with the Assistant when creating a dashboard.

The simplicity can restrict users from creating more complex reports.

We still in testing stage with Cognos, however, we have the IBM Cloud Pak for data available in our department.

Pricing involves more than just the overall cost; it also includes the various pricing models available.

Tool is flexible to create all queries needed including graphical charts

Depending on Data Structure and fields, may be difficult to pull the correct information

Ability to quickly access aggregated or compilation of data with all info in single report. Ability to dump into ms excel for further compilation and filtering

What do you like best about the product?
Flexibility in customizing reports and allowing developers to build and maintain
What do you dislike about the product?
Complex to build reports without in depth training and features in Cognos Reports are not available in dashboards, thinks like parameterizing inputs
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allows large amounts of data to be sent to business users for pivots/lookups moving the load off of TM1 cubes.
