Easy to Learn and Use, with a Flexible Implementation Team
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ease of use, and the learn at your own pace that Prophix offers. The implementation team is also very understanding that you may be busy, and will work around your schedule
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside was that AI was not as present and in the forefront as I would have liked, but that just changed with the latest rollout of the AI in the "Glassbox" which is very easy to utilize
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Prophix is helping me eliminate the utilization of Excel and making it easy for all users to see data in real time, based upon reports that are specific for their needs. The budgeting process based on actual purchases by item by vendor vs the actual production / shipping data from our ERP will help YFB make our annual budget and actual vs budget comparison much easier
Great Reporting and Accounting Integration, but a Steep Setup and Learning Curve
What do you like best about the product?
I like the reporting structure and how easy it is to run reports across the system. It also integrated nicely with our accounting software which is very helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
The initial integration and set up was very tough for our company. The learning curve on how to use things is also fairly steep.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It brought all of our data together into one spot and gave us an easier way to budget and forecast. The AI tools will also help save time and effort by doing some of that analysis for us.
Efficient Consolidation, Quick Outputs
What do you like best about the product?
I find Prophix Software great for easier consolidation, which saves time and cost. I like the low risk of errors it offers and appreciate the quick output. The error reports are useful for highlighting issues, and I appreciate the speed at which reports come out.
What do you dislike about the product?
Maybe the foreign currency features could be improved.

Prophix Software makes consolidation easier, saving time and cost with low risk of errors and quick report output.

What I like best about Prophix is how it streamlines all core FP&A processes into an intuitive, automated, and integrated platform. For finance teams—especially in large organizations—it significantly improves both the speed and quality of planning, budgeting, and reporting.

Analysts point out that Prophix’s pricing structure may be a barrier for small organizations or teams with limited budgets.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the ability of Prophix Software to connect to multiple data points and then cross-section data as appropriate. This feature is great because all of the disjointed data can be brought into one place, allowing me to see the full view of financials or projects without having to go to multiple places. Additionally, the ongoing setup of Prophix Software has been easy and intuitive.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Prophix Software for financial and project management reporting, solving speed and accuracy issues. It connects multiple data points, cross-sectioning data, and centralizing disjointed data so I don't have to look in multiple places for a comprehensive view.
Slice and Dice Financials to Hearts Content
What do you like best about the product?
Permissions are easy to configure, which allows us to maintain strong controls while still enabling users to build and share their own reports. This reduces bottlenecks with the finance team and encourages self-service reporting.
The platform is also very stable—reports roll forward cleanly from year to year without breaking, which saves significant time during budgeting, forecasting, and reporting cycles.
Overall, it strikes a strong balance between flexibility, governance, and reliability.

I wish they would continue to sell on-prem licenses.

Prophix solves the challenge of consolidating and analyzing complex, multi-entity financial data in a timely and consistent way.
It enables us to consolidate results in near real time across hundreds of databases and legal entities, including multi-currency operations. We can budget in a static currency while analyzing actuals versus budget in constant currency, which removes FX noise and gives us a true view of underlying performance.
Prophix also allows us to slice and analyze the business across multiple dimensions—geography, business unit, function, and legal entity—without rebuilding reports.

Even thought the excel like report is easy to use. Users often expect lot more excel like behaviour.

Best FP&A Tool Mid Market
What do you like best about the product?
The FP&A platform has significantly improved the efficiency of our monthly reporting and made managing the close process much easier. As our organisation has grown, Prophix has played a crucial role in helping us onboard new entities smoothly. Implementation process is great as they have a consultant show you how to do all the setup and configuration meaning you can update or create new models with ease in the future.
What do you dislike about the product?
Prophix has grown rapidly by introducing new modules, and I find it challenging to keep up with all the changes. However, this also shows that they are making significant investments in the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Prophix provides us with excellent reporting and analytical insights at month end and it plays an important role in our consolidated financial reporting. Additionally, we have set up constant currency reporting, which allows us to compare results against a constant currency basis.
