Even thought the excel like report is easy to use. Users often expect lot more excel like behaviour.

Best FP&A Tool Mid Market
What do you like best about the product?
The FP&A platform has significantly improved the efficiency of our monthly reporting and made managing the close process much easier. As our organisation has grown, Prophix has played a crucial role in helping us onboard new entities smoothly. Implementation process is great as they have a consultant show you how to do all the setup and configuration meaning you can update or create new models with ease in the future.
What do you dislike about the product?
Prophix has grown rapidly by introducing new modules, and I find it challenging to keep up with all the changes. However, this also shows that they are making significant investments in the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Prophix provides us with excellent reporting and analytical insights at month end and it plays an important role in our consolidated financial reporting. Additionally, we have set up constant currency reporting, which allows us to compare results against a constant currency basis.

What do you like best about the product?
We’ve been using Prophix for a few budget cycles now, and it’s made a big difference in how we manage forecasting and reporting. The main benefit is getting out of manual spreadsheet work.Prophix lets us consolidate data in one place, build reports that are repeatable and distributable, and give division leads better visibility into their numbers.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some quirks with the template studio are annoying.

Prophix addressed our reporting and distribution challenges, significantly improving our budgeting process by providing a single source of truth and an audit log to track changes.
A great tool for all your financing planning and analysis needs
What do you like best about the product?
You can have everything in one place no matter if it's budgeting, forecasting or reporting. It can seamlessly integrates with your identity provider for SSO needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it feels slow but maybe it's just the network or something related to cloud. User may find it difficult initially if they weren't trained.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We used to use another tool and sometimes spreadsheet for our financial needs, this tool gets rid of all that. It also becomes harder for Finance to coordinate with other departments, but this tool helps removes that barrier. Also helps managing who should have access to what and provides centralized management and role based controls.

Prophix is great for a company our size
What do you like best about the product?
The customer service team at Prophix is wonderful. We have been able to schedule recurring appointments to track and manage our problems over time. We have been given numerous resources to help make the best decisions when it comes to building a cube, creating groups, building a new template, etc. This software has been a great addition to our month end closing process and helps us cut down on closing times.
What do you dislike about the product?
Initially when utilizing Prophix Software, understanding how the software works and implementing our data can be challenging. One problem that we have run into with our processes is bringing in new data from another platform that we use to track our financials and transactions. Differences in integration can make the ease of using this software harder than it has to be. Some of the formulas that work to pull this data together can be challenging to resolve at times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Prophix Software is making the budgeting process much easier, less time consuming, more accurate, and clearer. This benefits our company as we are able to spend year end close focused on other items that are vital to our success, rather than just the budget alone.

What do you like best about the product?
Prophix is a user friendly software, both admin and end user experience. The best thing about Prophix is there Customer Success Program (CSP). The CSP has outstanding support and resources. In addition, we have built great relationships with many individuals at Prophix. They are eager to solve problems and want you to succeed.
What do you dislike about the product?
Due to the nature of our business, our transaction count is extremely large. The one continued hiccup we've experienced is performance. That has been the only dislike about Prophix.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has been our only source of budgeting and forecasting at a granular level for almost ten years now. It's allowed us to get into our number in order to make better decisions. It helped us during the pandemic and allowed us to do scenario planning and stay afloat. Where our competitors took a huge hit.

Yearly budget entering process has been simplified due to the ease of use Prophix provides for all of its users. Budget owners are able to easily enter their own budget and also drill deeper into a line-item that allows them to leave notes for future reference.
