I use Epiq Discovery for litigation and compliance matters to process and review large amounts of data. I appreciate the AI-powered document classification and technology-assisted review, which help with efficiency in my work. It produces the outcomes I want in a very quick timeframe. The initial setup was easy and quick.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the generic answers; sometimes the advice needs to be catered. I want the responses to be tailored.

The end-user interface is very easy to navigate, which helps speed up processes and ensures the workflow can be managed efficiently.

I’m not yet familiar with some of the more advanced features that Epiq Discovery offers, and I believe it would be time-consuming to fully master them.
There are also occasional short delays, which can be frustrating when I’m trying to complete time-bound tasks.

As we store a large amount of data on our systems, Epiq Discovery is excellent for quickly locating the essential information and documents needed for a specific task.
This helps us work much faster than older systems, which often couldn’t assist when trying to search for data within a large volume.

I like the AI-powered review and search the most as it makes finding relevant documents fast and easy. I really like Epiq Discovery’s powerful search and analytics capabilities. Its advanced filtering and keyword search make it much easier to quickly pinpoint relevant documents, even across very large datasets. I also appreciate the structured review workflows, which help teams collaborate smoothly and stay organized throughout the discovery process. The platform has been stable and consistently performs well, even when handling high data volumes. Strong data security for sensitive legal information is another major plus. The ability to assign tasks, track progress, and maintain clear audit trails keeps project management transparent and well organized. Customer support and implementation guidance have also been dependable, which contributes to a positive overall experience.

What do you like best about the product?
It’s very intuitive, with a consistently smooth interface and an overall seamless process. Every time I use it, I can’t help but notice how easy it is to navigate, and how the comfort level stays consistently high.
What do you dislike about the product?
“Dislike” is a strong word, but if I had to point out one of its shortcomings, it would be the barrier to entry. Even though it’s intuitive, if you don’t have much knowledge of what you’re doing, that learning curve can still feel like a pretty tough hurdle to get over.

Epiq addresses problems that come up in the AI and SaaS space. With the rapid rise and growth of AI these days, having a solution like Epiq Discovery feels crucial in today’s landscape.

The search builder does not always work as expected; processing of docs take a long time; AI function needs more features

Professional Look and Easy to Use
What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to use and looks professional, even though we can run it internally. I also like how we can review and produce documents on our own.

I sometimes find the search functions to be a bit confusing but they get easier the more I do them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We often have to review large amounts of documents, most of which are emails, and Epiq Discovery allows us to swiftly load documents and keep the review organized, regardless of how many people get into the documents.
Detailed Search Features, But Steep Learning Curve
What do you like best about the product?
I like the number of details for users to integrate into their document searches. Additionally, once your toggles are to your liking, there is a much easier use to the system.

Sometimes it is not user friendly unless you've been trainer by someone else on how to user it,

They are definitely upgrading their security.
The Pros and Cons of Epiq
What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful aspect of Epiq is the ability to quickly flag responsive documents and categorize them according to privilege. This is what I primarily use it for. I also enjoy the ability to search keywords across a data set and review the hits with ease.
What do you dislike about the product?
The least helpful aspect of Epiq is how slow the system runs. Document review takes an extraordinarily long time simply because the pages are slow to load and the system as a whole seems to struggle to handle large requests.

Epiq helps me quickly review and code responsive documents.

Epiq Discovery combines powerful features with a clean, intuitive interface. Its cloud-based setup is fast and hassle-free, with smooth integration into existing workflows. The early case assessment tools make it easy to filter and prioritise data. On top of that, Epiq’s responsive customer support is knowledgeable and quick to resolve issues. It’s robust, easy to use, and well-supported—a standout in the eDiscovery space.
What do you dislike about the product?
The new interface places controls on the left side of the window, whereas I personally prefer them at the top of the screen. If this layout could be adjusted, it would make the experience even better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I used Epiq Discovery for a small matter and was able to set up the case, process the data, run searches, and provide responsive documents to the team—all within a single platform. This meant I didn’t have to import, export, and then overlay data between different tools, which saved time and reduced the risk of errors. Having everything in one place made the workflow faster, simpler, and more efficient.
