Highly Effective SAR Processing Platform with Exceptional Support
What do you like best about the product?
Epiq Discovery is its intuitive and efficient platform for managing Subject Access Requests (SARs) and other document review tasks. The interface is user-friendly, which makes it easy to navigate even complex requests with confidence. This ease of use has streamlined our processes and reduced the time spent on repetitive tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
Epiq Discovery could improve is in customisation options within the platform. While the tool is effective and user-friendly, it would be helpful to have more tailored settings or advanced filters to accommodate specific workflows and unique project requirements.
Additionally, reporting and analytics could be more detailed. Enhanced insights or automated reports on key metrics would provide even greater visibility into the status and efficiency of SAR processing. These features would make it easier to track performance over time and make data-driven improvements.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing SARs manually can be time-consuming and prone to errors, especially when handling large volumes of data. Epiq Discovery simplifies and streamlines the SAR process by automating much of the document collection, organisation, and review, saving us significant time and resources.

What do you like best about the product?
The user interface, customer support, and pricing models
What do you dislike about the product?
The desktop client app could use updating.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
De-duplication of documents and effort in orgnanizing, reviewing, and producing them, and more robust searching.
Excellent time saving tool
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to quickly organise emails and documents by various metadata, and the customer support that has been provided. Manually sorting documents take an inordinate amount of time otherwise.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some features could be added, but this is being mitigated by the constant changes that Epiq is making to the solution

Generally good but the software can feel clunky at times.

The UI is clean and manageable for the most part. I like the pop out function too.

The scrolling and moving from pages of documents is clunky.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Epiq solves searching through many documents and redactions are made easier. This helps me work through discovery quicker.
Room for improvement
What do you like best about the product?
Someone from my my firm's IT department would say that the best thing about Epiq Discovery is that is a web-based platform. For me, the best features are codding/tagging documents.
What do you dislike about the product?
The search capabilities are sub-standard. I've follwed certain directions on your website and the search functions still do not work.

Storage and ordanization of documents.
Practical Product and Supportive Staff
What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy the easiness of it all. I come to this application to accomplish a particlar goal and I find myself along with collegues that agree, that we can do more that hoped for. We use it often and the daily interaction with the software saves time and energy compared to other systems we have tried.
What do you dislike about the product?
I truly have no gripes with the system. If ever I'm unsure about anything, the staff are easy to reach and assist to resolve whtever issues should arise.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Epiq saves us time! We are able to upload with efficiency, review documents and share them amongst the team with ease!
Fantastic Legal Tech option for all law firms, which helps to facilitate document review.
What do you like best about the product?
Great for managing document review. The entire user interface very well thought out, such that even those that are not well integrated with tech can still operate it effectively. Further, the customer support is excellent and the support team is always on standby if you require help. What I particularly like is the ease of implementation - only one or two training sessions were required to get the team started.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think while the user interface is easy to use, more can be done to make it more user friendly. One way to go about this is to have an archive of tutorial videos for users to watch to solve various common problems - instead of having to reach out to the Epiq team whenever a difficulty arises.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has ensured that my team does not review the same document twice for different issues. It has also allowed my team a central platform to see comments/markups by each team member, which saves a lot of time communicating back and forth.
EPIQ gets the job done
What do you like best about the product?
As an attorney working in preparing Freedom of Information Law (FOIL) responses, EPIQ is an excellent tool for narrowing down my searches to produce relevant documents in a fast an efficient manner. Their internal redaction features are customizable to my needs and I am able to easily export them to searchable PDFs when ready. I have been a daily user of this tool since I started working in my current position seven months ago. Finally, the customer support base has always been available whenever I've had any issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
My only complaint would be the default overlay of redacted text when doing a mass redaction of a particular word or phrase. Other than that, no issues.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
EPIQ allows me to filter out thousands of unwanted results from my searches within minutes.

Many features are intuitive in terms of adding tags.

The search function could be improved as it seems the function to build a search is clunky and doesn't include an easy way to include key words.

Seaches to have a more efficient review of relevant documents.
Epiq has been a good basic platform for those of us who are not that tech savvy.

Easy to use. Helpful and nice staff who are there when you need them.

We are billed for absolutely everything causing issues with the client. I do not understand why we were billed for downloading documents when we are charged for storing them.
It would be good if you could more easily expand a documnet to be larger and cuould print from Epiq directly.

No business problems. I use it for ediscovery in litigation.
