What do you like best about the product?

I really appreciate that the proxies simply work when I need them, without any hassle or downtime. I no longer have to babysit connections or deal with constant failed requests like I used to. The pool also feels genuinely diverse, and the geo-targeting actually delivers accurate local results, rather than proxies that claim to be in one place but behave like they’re somewhere else.

What do you dislike about the product?

It’s definitely on the higher end cost-wise if you’re not committing to a decent volume. And while the dashboard is powerful, it took me a couple of weeks to feel fully comfortable with all the session and rotation tweaks. It’s not a dealbreaker, but there is a bit of a learning curve if you’re coming from simpler tools.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

I mainly use it for competitor monitoring: verifying ad creatives across different regions, pulling public social and e-comm data for trend reports, and keeping an eye on pricing changes for our retail clients. It’s nothing too crazy on any given day, but we run steady daily volumes that really add up over time.

What do you like best about the product?

After managing social campaigns for over a dozen clients over the past year and a half, Oxylabs has become our go-to for staying under the radar. Their residential proxies simply work better for Instagram and TikTok account management. I can rotate through different countries seamlessly when testing localized content, and the IPs feel genuine. I rarely sees those random verification pop-ups anymore. I also really appreciate how straightforward it is to set up city-level targeting. We ran a campaign for a retail client in three specific Midwest cities last quarter, and the engagement data was much more accurate than what we were getting before.

What do you dislike about the product?

It’s not the cheapest tool out there. When we ramp up for big seasonal pushes, the bandwidth costs add up faster than I expected. Also, during one Black Friday prep, a couple of EU endpoints were slower than usual, but support jumped in quickly and suggested alternative pools that fixed the issue the same day.

Well, I’ve been a user for a little over a year now, and the main negative I can point to from my experience is the traffic data limitation on the static (or sticky) residential proxy IPs.

I'm at home on the couch. I just needed to get this off my plate. Oxylabs was pretty easy to set up. I didn't hit any major walls and it's working as expected as we're getting information from various sources into our warehouse. I liked how many pre-built connectors it had because then I wouldn't have to be a genius to figure out how to get it to work. I was happy it didn't blow anything up during the last large sync and it does auto update which is helpful since we're a small team.

What do you dislike about the product?

The number of emails they send me is way too high and I barely utilize even half of their service offerings. When we move a lot of data through the platform it becomes quite pricey. I'd love if there were a little friendlier pricing model for smaller startup companies. The user interface can sometimes appear slow or lag while editing the schema settings and also it can feel somewhat slow processing a large volume of data.

It's allowing us to avoid manually extracting all of that information ourselves. We used to have the same type of information spread across Google Sheets and random ad account platforms. Now it simply pulls everything together into one location so we're able to better track and understand what's happening and also it's saving my team countless hours that would have otherwise been spent developing customized solutions. It provides us error-free access to our data within our reporting applications. I'm also just happy I don't have to fight with APIs every single day.
