What do you like best about the product?

Their portal is fairly easy to navigate but the best part about Megaport is their Support. They are very responsive and incredibly helpful. You’re not just speaking to a bot but an actual human who really understands the platform and product they are providing.

What do you dislike about the product?

If you are not familiar with their portal then it could be a bit confusing. However, this is mitigated by the various ways to contact support to ask for assistance whether by chat feature, your CSM, or email.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

The ease of adding connections and ordering service efficiently. Some providers make it difficult and have a very long process just to get something simple. Megaport makes it seamless when ordering services we need for our customers.

What do you like best about the product?

Amazing services, amazing technical team, amazing account managers, front line 5 star support... one of the best companies I've ever worked with.

What do you dislike about the product?

Nothing, this company has not had a single downside since joining as a customer over 3 years ago.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

We use expressroute features from them, along with occasional other services

Very flexible deployment scenarios, intuitive Portal with metrics, very competitive pricing and a ever increasing product offering. Very powerful integration with our existing CI/CD pipeline for both provisioning and decommissioning as needed

What do you dislike about the product?

Account management is a bit short when creating new account roles. As an example there is, as of now, there is no way to add additional roles to an existing pre-defined role

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Near real-time deployment, within hours between locations, for DR or Emergency situations pay's for the service by itself. The network controls (PFL's, Routing protocol support, etc...) Megaport provides with on-boarding new cloud environments with on-prem facilities was one of the main reasons for selecting this platform

Time responsiveness, providing services with total visibility to customer when it comes to product delivery.

What do you dislike about the product?

It’s not a dislike, but I’d like to see whether non-Megaport areas could also become Megaport service providers, rather than requiring the customer to do a cross-connect to a facility where Megaport already has a presence.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Megaport portal traffic tuning: you can do some traffic filtering within a port or a router directly from the portal via a simple GUI interface, which can be very helpful.

Megaport is one of the best technologies I’ve ever seen. I’m currently working with Brian Bauman, and he has exceptional knowledge. I’ve learned a lot from him

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Connecting to AWS, Azure, GCP, Oracle, and others normally requires separate setups. Megaport centralizes all of it through a single platform.I can build and validate cloud interconnects quickly and consistently..I get more stable, predictable connectivity for testing BGP, routing, and architecture designs.

What do you like best about the product?

Megaport’s platform is built on reliability and clear, predictable pricing, which made onboarding refreshingly straightforward. What really stands out is how fast I can make changes now, provisioning tasks are done in minutes. Once a port is live, the catalogue of cloud and network services feels almost limitless, and the UI makes exploring new paths genuinely intuitive. I’ve ended up discovering entirely new workflows simply because experimenting on the platform is so effortless.

What do you dislike about the product?

It isn’t available at every branch location and seems to be focused solely on the data centre.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Megaport has made integrating cloud services effortless, reliable, and scalable.

What do you like best about the product?

Very easy to request new services and also a very reliable product. We've been using Megaport now for over 10 years and have never had an outage.

What do you dislike about the product?

Most of the data centers we wok in already have a Megaport connection in the co-location. Which makes it very simple to connect to.

Only in a few instances have we run into a co-location that didn't already have a Megaport presence and therefore we would have to rely on a telecom provider to be the last-mile to get us connect to the closest Megaport co-location.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Its our go-to for all of our major Cloud connections as well as some of our private connections between our data centers where we have a Megaport connection on both sides.

What do you like best about the product?

The services were up and running within just a few minutes. The account manager was very helpful and responsive throughout the setup. Pricing was very competitive as well.

What do you dislike about the product?

I had a hard time locating the billing section when I was trying to find a copy of my invoice.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Megaport resolved all the service outage issues I was dealing with under my previous provider. Since switching, I haven’t had any downtime.

Lots of process for migration of services weren't clear and a lot of hassle trying to work with different teams and the associated delays
