What do you like best about the product?

I really like the scope and design of SailPoint, especially how it handles connectors. The governance and audit features are what I like the most. It helps ensure our accesses are periodically certified, and we have all our audit needs covered, especially for external audits. SailPoint delivers the information we need during audits effectively.

What do you dislike about the product?

I think SailPoint could be improved by aligning more with industry standards and introducing additional features that people are looking for. I've noticed that while some AI features are expected soon, the release of new versions seems to have slowed down. For instance, the transition from version 8.2 to 8.5 took a long time, and there's uncertainty about when the next version will come out. It would be great if SailPoint could ensure it stays updated with the latest versions more frequently.

SailPoint helps my organization transition to an identity management system, providing centralized access to multiple platforms and servers, ensuring governance and audit compliance.

What do you like best about the product?

SailPoint makes identity and access management simpler and more secure. It helps organizations ensure the right people have the right access at the right time, which makes it a valuable solution for managing security and compliance.

What do you dislike about the product?

One thing I dislike about SailPoint is that some configurations and troubleshooting can be complex, especially when dealing with customizations or integrations. It can sometimes take extra effort to understand and resolve issues.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

SailPoint helps solve identity and access management challenges by ensuring users have the right access to the right resources. It improves security, reduces manual work, and makes access management easier to manage and audit.

What do you like best about the product?

I love that SailPoint offers a flexible, modular implementation, which allowed us to iteratively build our solution in a complex environment. This flexibility made the transition from our old system smoother by enabling us to gradually expand functionality. Once our engineers got comfortable with the system, making progress was much quicker, which I really appreciate.

What do you dislike about the product?

Some of our core code has become complex, and we realized late in the day that we needed to change it, which proved to be quite difficult. However, I'm not sure how SailPoint could have made that easier for us. Also, a peer forum to share technical challenges would be awesome. SailPoint has good support, but sometimes being able to discuss a challenge with a peer would allow different perspectives to potentially simplify the problem.

SailPoint helps my team ensure the right people have the right access at the right time. Its flexible, modular implementation allows us to build our solution iteratively and expand functionality step by step, making identity maturity easier to navigate.

Customisation friendly and best suits for all types of business identity access requirements

Can be more Developer editor friendly, else everything is good

Identity and access requirements is getting solved very effectively

Sailpoint is the preferred Identity and Access Governance tool helping the industries to its best. I recommend this solution to the customers

What do you dislike about the product?

Limitation on IIQ and more inclination towards ISC. Being a Sailpoint IIQ developer, I would love that we get those features and AI agentic models to built in Sailpoint IIQ features also

It is a leading IIQ solution and it is pretty seamless to use

All the IDM functionalities, especially provisioning to different target applications, identity governance, providing a room for customization in IiQ products. Expanding products presence in all the new AI era

Dislike about SailPoint is mainly the performance and documentation. Lot of confusing documentation. Different approaches are mentioned, but best practices are lagged in multiple areas which creates confusion.

Identity governance and provisioning to different target applications, good identity onboarding experience. Day 1 user onboarding experience is great

What do you like best about the product?

The robust automated identity governance and compliance capabilities. It provides a comprehensive, centralized view of user access across our entire enterprise, making user access reviews and compliance audits

What do you dislike about the product?

It has a steep learning curve. Configuring custom connectors takes time, navigation through deep configuration takes time to understand. Cost of ownership is also high, making mid size companies difficult to run prolonged time.

Automates user access reviews, helps improve audit preparation time, lifecycle management is automated.
