What do you like best about the product?

I like how SailPoint makes identity governance feel practical and manageable, especially with its automated provisioning, access reviews, and lifecycle management features.

What do you dislike about the product?

I find some of SailPoint’s configuration and customization processes more complex than they need to be. In particular, troubleshooting workflows and managing integrations often require a deeper level of technical understanding, and they can involve more manual effort than I would expect.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

SailPoint helps address the challenge of managing user access across multiple applications and systems. With automated provisioning, access certifications, and identity lifecycle management, it reduces manual effort and makes it easier to ensure users have the right access at the right time.

What do you like best about the product?

I like SailPoint for the automation and visibility it provides. It really makes managing user access a lot easier, especially during onboarding, offboarding, and access reviews. The automation helps reduce manual effort, and the better control over security and compliance is something I appreciate. I also find the visibility valuable because it allows us to quickly see who has access to which systems and identify any inappropriate or unnecessary access. These capabilities make access management more efficient, consistent, and easier to audit.

What do you dislike about the product?

One area that could be improved is the overall user experience. Some workflows can feel complex and configuration or troubleshooting may require specialized knowledge. I'd also like to see simpler administration, more intuitive reporting, and easier customization of workflows and dashboards. Improving these areas would make SailPoint easier to manage and more accessible to a broader range of users.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

I find SailPoint improves my visibility into user access, automates provisioning and deprovisioning, and reduces my manual work, helping ensure I maintain appropriate user access while supporting security and compliance requirements, making my access management more efficient and consistent.

What do you like best about the product?

Quick and effective. Security seems strong, have had no issues and always performs as expected.

What do you dislike about the product?

Nothing so far, no complaints. Seems to work the way it should and flows nicely.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Sailpoint helps manage our companies security. It runs smooth and is simple to use.

What do you like best about the product?

The Customer Success team is top notch. The manager assigned to us taps in regularly, is responsive and continually helps us meet our objectives.

What do you dislike about the product?

Shifting resources for our project work has created some inefficiencies as we need to spend time acquainting the new resource with the nuances of our environment and workflows, and there is more miscommunication than is necessary.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

The solution has helped us track and manage the risks with our non-employee populations (e.g., contractors, students, consultants, etc.) in addition to controlling their access. The deep customization allows us to adapt to emerging risks.

Wide set of connectors.
Overall visibility of accounts and entitlements from all sources creates a good overview of what accounts and access an identity has
Access history makes it easy to see the events of an identity
New features are constantly improving SailPoint

What do you dislike about the product?

Workarounds are needed to delete accounts
Not possible to assign a campaign to entitlement or role owner

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

It enables efficient management of user identities and their access, including streamlined onboarding and offboarding processes. It also improves our security posture by making it easier to track who has access to what.
We are able to create SoD-policies so we can track any violations.

What do you like best about the product?

What I like most about SailPoint is how it simplifies identity and access management. It makes it straightforward to request, manage, and review access to applications, while helping ensure the right people have the appropriate level of access. The automated approval workflows and governance features strengthen security, cut down on manual effort, and make the overall access management process more efficient.

Nothing as such, everything is quite easy to use

SailPoint solves the challenge of managing user access across multiple applications by automating access requests, approvals, and access reviews. This ensures users receive the appropriate access quickly while maintaining security and compliance. For me, it reduces delays in getting the access I need, simplifies access management, and helps ensure that permissions are accurate and up to date.

What do you like best about the product?

I find SailPoint incredibly helpful for role and access management, as it simplifies the process of requesting access for certain apps or roles. It’s very automatic; just a few clicks, and it gets everything done, which I appreciate as it saves me time. I really like the feature that allows me to request access for someone else, so if I know my team will need something, I can request it for all of them. The initial setup of SailPoint was really easy, with the majority of it handled by UT, but for our team, it was pretty simple.

Nothing much, i like it overall

I use SailPoint for role and access management. It simplifies requesting access for apps or roles and is automatic, getting everything done with just a few clicks. I like requesting access for someone else too, which saves time by efficiently managing team needs.

What I like best about SailPoint is its ability to centralize and automate identity governance at scale. It helps organizations manage user access throughout the entire identity lifecycle, improving security, compliance, and operational efficiency.

What do you dislike about the product?

It’s difficult to run tests in development environments, for example. I have some certifications, but I can only test scenarios in my company’s environment.

As a security professional, SailPoint helps me address one of the biggest security challenges: controlling who has access to critical systems and data. It provides visibility into access rights, automates governance processes, and helps detect excessive or inappropriate permissions. This reduces security risk, simplifies compliance activities, and allows teams to focus on higher-value security initiatives instead of manual access management tasks.
