What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Automate and manage user accounts and access.

What do you like best about the product?

I like SailPoint for its easy navigation and having all the required features for a large organization. It gives the ability to handle SOD policy, enhances the joiner process, and allows for specific role crafting. The initial setup was straightforward.

What do you dislike about the product?

I find there's too much customization needed, and I have to maintain it through upgrades.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

I use SailPoint to see user access across platforms, automate joiner and leaver processes, handle JML processes, and craft specific roles, while navigating easily with necessary features for large organizations.

What do you like best about the product?

The ease of deployment of the product is the best. The connector options are good and most connectors are out of the box. The interface is also clean and quite intuitive.

What do you dislike about the product?

It is the most expensive IGA product and the support is not the best. Most of the time the support team just redirects to expert services - which is a paid proposition, and then the ES team rarely gives a solution.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

SailPoint is providing to me a single pane of glass view for all identity and access. I run my access reviews using the tool and the clean UI has been accepted by the reviewers.

What do you like best about the product?

The main strengths are: advanced access certifications, well-supported segregation of duties (SoD), clear entitlement governance, continuous audit and compliance, as well as comprehensive management of the Joiner / Mover / Leaver lifecycle.

What do you dislike about the product?

Integration can sometimes be complex, there is a lack of resources available on the market, and the level of reporting is not up to the standard of market SaaS solutions.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

This solution speeds up the management of user movements (arrivals, departures, job changes). It also facilitates the assignment of rights, licenses, and tools, without needing assistance from the IT support team.

What do you like best about the product?

What I like best about SailPoint is the centralized visibility it provides over identities and access. The platform offers a clear interface, strong integration capabilities, and useful automation for access requests, role management, and certifications. It helps us improve governance while reducing manual work. SailPoint is expensive, but the value is there for large organizations with complex access governance needs. The automation, centralized visibility, and stronger compliance controls can justify the cost by reducing manual work and security risks.

What do you dislike about the product?

What I dislike most is that configuration and troubleshooting can sometimes be complex, especially when integrations, aggregations, or identity refreshes fail. Error messages are not always clear, and some changes take time to propagate. The platform is powerful, but the administrative experience and learning curve could be smoother.

SailPoint helps us centralize access management, automate joiner-mover-leaver processes, and improve visibility into who has access to what. It also supports role-based access, approval workflows, and certification campaigns, which reduces manual work and strengthens compliance and audit readiness.

It's easy to use and integrates with multiple systems

Some of the integrations with ServiceNow is clunky and can cause an infinite loop especially when a field is changed

It's allowing us to control a user status automatically withing ServiceNOw

The automation of access through role-based permission assignment and policies significantly reduces operational time and, above all, decreases the risks of unauthorized access.

What do you dislike about the product?

When errors occur, the search for technical documentation is very limited, if not nonexistent. Additionally, they could improve the response times of their technical support.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Mainly, it helps in the automation of access, solving the problem of long waiting times for access approval to certain organizational resources. It also contributes to security and the alerting of suspicious access, allowing actions to be taken on those alerts. Additionally, it helps with regulatory compliance related to the protection of user accounts.

What do you like best about the product?

SailPoint simplifies the process of submitting access requests for multiple applications, whether the request is for myself or for an entire team.

The workflow provides clear visibility into the current stage of each request, allowing me to easily identify pending actions and follow up with the appropriate approvers to ensure timely completion.

I primarily use SailPoint for internal access management, especially during the onboarding process for new team members. Our Development team requires access to a specific set of applications and resources, and SailPoint efficiently manages the entire provisioning process.

Compared to traditional request methods such as JIRA or IT helpdesk tickets, SailPoint’s integration offers a more streamlined, transparent, and efficient approach to managing application access and user permissions.

What do you dislike about the product?

The process of manually reviewing and tracking who has access to which resources can feel outdated and complicated for managers. What should be a straightforward task can become unnecessarily time-consuming and difficult to manage.

While SailPoint offers extensive customization capabilities through custom coding, this flexibility can sometimes introduce challenges. Excessive customization may create complications during future upgrades, as custom code can become incompatible with newer versions, resulting in additional maintenance efforts and unexpected workload.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Managing access requests for my team has become much easier. I can quickly submit requests for applications or permissions, whether they are needed for myself or for multiple team members at the same time.

One of the features I value most is the simplicity and transparency of the workflow. I can easily track the status of each request and identify exactly where it is pending, allowing me to contact the right person without unnecessary follow-ups. This visibility has significantly reduced delays and improved overall efficiency.

What do you like best about the product?

SailPoint excels by delivering a unified identity governance platform that’s both powerful and user‑friendly. Its extensive connector library, real‑time analytics, and robust compliance controls make it ideal for scaling enterprise security and simplifying access management.

What do you dislike about the product?

I find SailPoint’s licensing model a bit opaque, and the initial configuration can be time‑consuming for complex environments. Additionally, some users report that the UI, while powerful, has a steep learning curve for new administrators.

SailPoint solves the core identity‑governance challenge of ensuring that the right people have the right access at the right time—automating provisioning, enforcing least‑privilege policies, and providing audit‑ready evidence. For me, this translates to faster onboarding, reduced risk of insider threats, and a single source of truth that keeps compliance teams confident and regulators satisfied.

What do you like best about the product?

SailPoint IdentityNow has completely transformed how we manage access certification campaigns. What used to be a manual, spreadsheet-driven process is now automated and trackable from a single platform. Certifiers get clear, actionable access reviews and our compliance team has full visibility into campaign progress in real time. The ability to schedule recurring certifications has taken enormous pressure off our team during audit season.

What do you dislike about the product?

The campaign configuration options can feel rigid at times — more flexibility around custom certification workflows and reviewer escalation paths would be a great improvement. The UI, while clean, can also feel slow when loading large certification campaigns with thousands of entitlements

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Before IdentityNow, our access review process was entirely manual and prone to human error — reviewers would rubber-stamp approvals without proper context. IdentityNow solved this by surfacing meaningful access data alongside each entitlement so reviewers can make informed decisions. This has significantly improved the quality of our certifications, reduced our audit preparation time, and given us a defensible, documented trail for compliance purposes. Our internal audit team now has full confidence in our access review process.
