Effortless Translations with Seamless Team Collaboration
Reviewed on Aug 13, 2026
Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
I use Crowdin for translations of text into apps or pages. It's quite fast to communicate with my international team, and I like that it gives me AI suggestions and older translations of similar texts. It's very easy to navigate. The initial setup was quite easy; I received access pretty fast and got a special meeting about how it works. I like working with it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing

Review of Crowdin by volunteer translator.

What do you like best about the product?
Crowdin is the localization tool our organization has chosen to use. It's helpful to see the localizations in many other languages even though I don't speak them. It's helpful for managing multiple localizations of a project.
What do you dislike about the product?
Getting started with Crowdin seemed much more difficult than it needed to be. There wasn't any help in the invitation email for navigating the nine or so different login options. Then once logged in and making changes to the strings or adding new ones it wasn't obvious how to save them. The interface is a bit complicated to begin with.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Crowdin helps us to manage both the volunteers who are localizing the software and the translated strings. It looks like it allows people to use many different authentication methods like Google, Github and other ID providers.

What do you like best about the product?
The AI built-in tool is amazing and all the available plugins.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the layout to be not super intuitive or beautiful. It could use a design facelift.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The AI tool in Crowdin has allowed us to reduce spending on translation drastically. We now have a translation manager and internal proofreaders, but not outsourced translators. It has made our workflow way faster and cheaper without sacrificing quality.

Crowdin: Reliable, Feature-Rich Localization with Best-in-Class Support

What do you like best about the product?
As of 2026, Crowdin stands out as the most reliable and feature-rich platform I’ve used. The biggest highlight is their support team — easily the best I’ve experienced. They are fast, responsive, and genuinely proactive. In one of our recent interactions, they even implemented a custom QA check based on our needs, which speaks volumes about their flexibility and commitment.
From an operational standpoint, the platform is extremely stable — I’ve experienced virtually no downtime, which is critical for continuous localization workflows and weekly release cycles.
Functionality-wise, Crowdin offers everything needed for professional localization management, from advanced glossary handling to automation and integrations. It consistently keeps up with real-world project demands.

A platform with the best collaboration and integration experience

What do you like best about the product?
I like that it's quite easy to integrate Crowdin with the existing pipeline. I had to set up an integration with our repository on GitHub, and I tried both ways: a guided tutorial on how to do it with their app (as a part of the onboarding process) or a complete manual approach via GitHub Actions. Both were actually surprisingly great.
It's also very easy to collaborate in Crowdin since it's a web app and the UX is tailored to that. I found it pretty intuitive overall too.

What do you dislike about the product?
I remember I initially had a couple of minor issues that were caused by somewhat confusing documentation. I spent a whole day trying to understand what is going wrong. Instead, I had to contact their support team directly because, as soon as I did it, they helped me to resolve the issue in less than half an hour.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Thanks to Crowdin, we were able to automate the localization pipeline as much as possible. No more sending Excel files back and forth, no accidental mistakes and in general lesser “human factor” impact.
But the main benefit is collaboration indeed. We have lots of projects, all with their own roles and permissions, own style guides, TMs and glossaries; the team is distributed—and it all neatly gathered under the roof of a single platform with great UX and performance. None of the alternatives we tried provides us the same level of experience.
