Lot of features
What do you like best about the product?
They are using all the latest technology to build the base Nuxeo. Then easy customize to with our requirement using the Nuxeo
What do you dislike about the product?
So much of component and many wapper level of implementation. We cannot able to find the main class immediately
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
They have the best document management design, we have implemented our customized product immediately

Simply put … the most modern ECM & DAM on the market.
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to use Nuxeo as an OpenSource platform is appealing. But the kicker is Nuxeo Studio, the proprietary configuration engine.
Much of what may get customized in Nuxeo can be done "headless" via the APIs and this is how I have approached its use to date. While there are some use cases where access to documents and/or content via Nuxeo's Web UI would be valuable, our user-base is best served by knowing as little as necessary to do their jobs. This means transparent API driven approaches using the existing UI they already work within.

While there are some use cases where access to documents and/or content via Nuxeo's Web UI would be valuable, our user-base is best served by knowing as little as necessary to do their jobs. What do you dislike about the product?
While Nuxeo remains a flexible and powerful platform from which we can manage a wide variety of electronic content, and its future is bright, the one drawback I have noted is that the process of custom development takes some getting used to. Native libraries for frameworks such as the Spring family of frameworks would go a long way to simplifying integration work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're using Nuxeo to store a wide variety of communications documents for various types of correspondence such as Fax, Mail and Email. This is integrated to multiple systems of record and CRM platforms depending upon business unit.
Compared to our previous implementations based on Microsoft SharePoint, Nuxeo is much more performant and flexible.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Nuxeo has a decent stand-up time. Its architecture is significantly more extensible and friendly from an integration standpoint than others we reviewed in our selection process.
While Nuxeo's underlying platform is Open Source Software (OSS), and also built on predominantly OSS components allowing it to be used at minimal cost … we found that the Nuxeo Studio configuration engine rather significantly enhances the deliverability of Nuxeo based solutions. So much so that it's well worth the annual license costs, at least in this stage of our implementation cycle.

The hierarchy and organization of document models within the data layer

Nuxeo Studio and JSF can feel janky at times for more specialized business rules

Investigative case management. Realized the benefit of the content model/file storage systems
Nuxeo Platform - Content management
What do you like best about the product?
I like it because it has good content for business management, it provides a number of features, such as case management and document management, which allows me to have a larger organization to reactivate the workflow continuously. Furthermore, the way Nuxeo allows the user to define data storage and management is a wonderful way to do so, I've benefited from having this program because its tools are not only good but also because its support is splendid.

You have to be patient with this program because it's not easy to learn, much more for new users on this kind of platform

Nuxeo has a very rich set of features but sufficiently complex, so developers need considerable time to expand on this platform's development.

I would definitely recommend this tool to others because it is very useful and useful in general.

Nuxeo has had an excellent impact on our work, we are currently evaluating and configuring the ECM application.
Nuxeo Platform
What do you like best about the product?
Nuxeo is a powerful open-source CMS for enterprise content management and provides tons of features. It is developer-friendly, and there are plenty of opportunities for developers to dive deeply into it and customize it. We can achieve most of the things we want through their operations chain, and we like this feature. The only part about which we don't feel good is the Nuxeo UI, as well as the Studio that comes with a subscription. To create the data types and workflows without using the Studio, Nuxeo should provide some documentation so that users who do not want to use Nuxeo Studio can benefit from it.
What do you dislike about the product?
The ingestion of data gives you a lot of trouble when you ingest other methods than the web UI.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This product is used as part of a decentralized project for managing electronic documents. A company product parameter and business functions are implemented for us. We find some blocking bugs on the product that are struggling with Nuxeo support to be corrected.

Nuxeo has a very rich set of features, but sufficiently complex, so developers need considerable time to develop this platform.mp up on development on this platform

The complex process of implementation especially developing components using polimer.js which is kind of old technology for frontend

DAM related issue. we are in a better position to locate Assets and apply ACL's

This is a great platform for handling great amount of data.

Documentation should improve Community for development is very less, this makes new additions will take longer time to stable
