Recommendations for Kubernetes lack the depth needed for modern container setups

It automates cost allocation so expenses can be accurately matched to specific business units, projects, or products.

What do you like best about the product?

Most helpful feature is being able to consolidate costs and recommendations from the main cloud vendors, as well as implement our own business logic into the mappings.

Rightsizing recommendations - quality, accuracy and limited scope

I appreciate IBM Cloudability for bringing visibility and cost transparency to my cloud spend, which enables opportunities for optimization. I also like how it brings cloud spend to a business context, allowing me to tie the spend back to business investment and track benefits.

What do you dislike about the product?

I don't like the lack of feature parity for the GCP platform compared to AWS.

IBM Cloudability brings visibility and cost transparency, leading to optimization opportunities. It aligns cloud spend to business context, allowing me to track investments and benefits.

Covers maximum aspects of FinOps with in depth details

Sometimes some features need additional development like where email notifications are there, the number of recipients and dimensions shouldn't have a limit. Also many parts donot have integration with service now yet

IBM Cloudability solves multi-cloud cost visibility, waste reduction, and resource allocation problems, benefiting users by lowering cloud expenses, improving financial accountability, and streamlining cross-functional decision-making.

Good self serviceability and amount of data within Cloudability

Lack of GCP rightsizing, commitment and support.

Enables chargeback of cloud costs and allows users to investigate and look into their costs

What do you like best about the product?

The support from my onboarding consultants and CSMs is second to none. The product is intuitive and backed by plenty of easily accessible doco.

What do you dislike about the product?

Turbonomic is brilliant, but without out-of-the-box integration with Slack, Teams, and Snow, it just isn’t as seamless as it could be. The same goes for Jira—adding these integrations would be a massive improvement.

It’s helped us identify savings and cost efficiencies we simply didn’t realise we had.

I like the structure and options that IBM Cloudability offers. It helps with speed and cost optimization and provides transparency for the IAG infrastructure.

I find it can be complicated and technical.

I use IBM Cloudability for speed and cost optimization, and it provides transparency to my processes.

I like the clear and detailed cost visibility that IBM Cloudability provides, making it easy to understand spending across cloud platforms. Its ability to quickly identify cost-saving opportunities, like idle resources, is very effective. I also appreciate the user-friendly dashboard and reports that aid in better decision-making. Budget tracking and forecasting simplify financial planning significantly. Additionally, Cloudability provides useful insights that help improve cost efficiency and brings better financial control over cloud infrastructure.

What do you dislike about the product?

Some reports can feel complex initially and require time to fully understand. Real-time cost updates are slightly delayed, which impacts immediate decision-making. Customization of dashboard and reports could be more flexible. Integration and setup for multiple cloud platforms like Azure can be a bit time-consuming.

I use IBM Cloudability to monitor and optimize cloud spending on AWS and Azure. It provides visibility in cost distribution, helping to identify cost-saving opportunities and unused resources. It simplifies multi-cloud cost management and improves financial control with centralized reports and user-friendly dashboards.
