Flexible, Visual Note-Making with Code Blocks, Diagrams, and Built-In Kanban Boards

What do you like best about the product?
I like using this for note-making for my studies and for learning in development. I can customize and style text in many ways, such as adding colors, adjusting font weight, and setting block backgrounds to highlight important code snippets or formulas. I can also easily add images and diagrams, and embed code blocks, which makes it much easier to organize complex technical concepts in a visually engaging way and review them later. its built-in Kanban boards make project and study tracking seamless allowing me to visualize. Also i can collaborate with my team or friends , we can mention the team and friends and also can add comment
What do you dislike about the product?
The initial learning curve for all the features is difficult because there are so many. I’d also like all features to be available offline—if that’s possible, it would be best for offline note-making. Also, there is sometimes lag, but I think that may be because my system has a low configuration.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before I started using Notion, my study notes, coding snippets, and project tasks were scattered across multiple apps—bookmark managers, simple text editors, and separate to-do lists. Notion solved that by giving me a genuinely all-in-one workspace. Now I can keep everything in one place: I write detailed technical notes, embed diagrams, and track project progress with Kanban boards without switching tools. It saves me time and makes it much easier to keep my learning organized and structured. Also provide tea m collaboration feature which very helpfull with team or friends

One hub for calendars, notes, and tasks

What do you like best about the product?
As an admin assistant supporting multiple executives, Notion has become my central hub for calendars, meeting notes, and task tracking. The drag-and-drop UI/UX is intuitive enough that I can build a new project template in minutes without any technical background, and switching between databases, docs, and boards feels clean rather than cluttered, even when I'm juggling several workspaces at once.
The integrations with Google Calendar, Slack, and Google Drive save me the most time day to day. I can pull deadlines and files straight into a project page instead of hopping between five different tabs, which has noticeably cut down my daily admin overhead and made the tool feel worth the cost compared to paying for several separate apps.
Performance has stayed solid even with dozens of linked databases and hundreds of tasks, and syncing across my laptop and phone is nearly instant, so I never worry about losing an update mid-day.
Notion AI has also been a pleasant surprise: I use it to summarize long meeting notes into clear action items and draft quick replies, which saves me a few hours every week that used to go into manual admin work.
We use Notion as well for onboarding new hires. This tool play a big role keeping our SOPs, training schedule, WIKIs available for our new hires.

What do you dislike about the product?
Pricing is my biggest frustration as the person who keeps an eye on our workspace budget, the per-seat cost adds up quickly once you factor in guests and cross-department collaborators, and features like advanced permissions and SSO sit behind the pricier Business/Enterprise tiers, which makes the ROI a harder sell when leadership compares it to cheaper single-purpose tools.
On performance, large databases with a lot of linked or rollup properties can slow to a noticeable crawl, especially on mobile, which is frustrating when I'm trying to update a task list from my phone between meetings.

Before Notion, our team's information was scattered across email/Slack threads, shared spreadsheets, and separate to-do apps, so as the admin assistant, I was constantly chasing down the latest version of a document or re-confirming a deadline that had changed. Now meeting notes, project trackers, and our shared calendar all live in one connected workspace, so I can go from a meeting note to an actionable task to a calendar entry without switching tools. That consolidation has directly cut down the time I spend on status updates and file hunting. It's also made handoffs much smoother: when I'm out of office, whoever is covering for me can open the same workspace and immediately see what's in progress, what's pending approval, and what's overdue, instead of waiting on me to explain it.
Notion has also become our informal knowledge base for recurring admin processes, like travel booking steps, expense report templates, and meeting prep checklists, which has cut down onboarding time for backup admin support and reduced the number of repetitive questions I get asked.

Flexible and User-Friendly, Yet Needs Performance Tweaks
Reviewed on Aug 13, 2026

What do you like best about the product?
I like Notion's flexibility and clean, organized interface which allows me to keep notes, documentation, task lists, checklists, and project information in one place. The ability to customize pages and collaborate with the team is particularly useful for day-to-day work. I also appreciate that the flexibility makes it easy to organize information based on different project needs, while the clean interface helps me find and update information quickly. I like that I can combine documentation, notes, task lists, and checklists on the same workspace, reducing the need to switch between multiple tools and making collaboration easier. The initial setup was quite easy, with creating workspaces, pages, databases, and templates being straightforward, and the interface was easy to understand. It was a smooth setup experience even though it took some time to organize everything according to our workflow.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find some pages take a little time to load when working with large and complex workspaces. The wide range of customization options can feel overwhelming for new users. I also think the search and navigation could be improved for large knowledge bases, with more accurate filtering, better ranking of results, and easier navigation between related pages. Clearer folder or hierarchy views and better ways to quickly find recently updated or frequently used information would make the experience smoother.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion to organize project documentation, notes, and tasks in one place. Its flexibility and interface ease collaboration and reduce tool-switching. However, it can be slow with large workspaces, and search/navigation in big knowledge bases could improve.
