It surfaces a lot of noise when my query is broad and I have to sift through it and refine the queries.

Search results can sometimes feel repetitive or overly broad, and AI summaries may miss nuance. Better filtering, fewer duplicate results, and more transparent source prioritization would improve the experience.

AlphaSense helps reduce the time spent on market research and competitive intelligence by consolidating expert insights, company information, and industry research. This enables faster decision-making, quicker market assessments, and more efficient preparation for strategic discussions.

Their analysis reports on sectors and companies earning trends along with the market insights they can get

As compared to bloomberg they have limited real-time market data also it has comparatively very high subscription cost.

We do have quarterly earning calls , newsletters, market insights , regulatory updates etx which if we read thoroughly eats up significant amount of working hours. Alphasense uses AI to summarise these and saves effort.

I use it as a sidekick for all my portfolio-related work. It easily goes through each potential option and rates them perfectly.

It seems like sentiment analysis isn’t being taken into account, or at least it doesn’t feel very reliable or trustworthy.

I shortlist a few potential options and use it to do deeper research. It brings out all the possible details related to each one, especially in terms of investment, with proper backing, along with a clear summary and rating.

The summarization, alerts, and easy access to multiple sources in one platform save significant research time and make it easier to identify important trends and information

The main area I’d improve is the learning curve. With so many features and a large volume of search results, it can sometimes feel overwhelming for new users. Search results could also be more precise, and the platform can be relatively expensive compared with some alternatives.

What I like best about AlphaSense is how it turns an overwhelming amount of market and business information into clear, actionable insight. The combination of a huge content library, powerful AI search, and cited answers makes research significantly faster while still allowing you to verify the underlying sources. I’m especially impressed by how AlphaSense brings external market intelligence and internal company knowledge together in one workflow, helping teams move from finding information to making better decisions much more efficiently. The value is strong relative to the cost. AlphaSense is a premium product, but the time saved on research and the ability to quickly access and synthesize high-quality information make it worthwhile. The biggest ROI comes from spending less time searching through multiple sources and more time on analysis and decision-making

What do you dislike about the product?

If I had to pick one area for improvement, it would be the learning curve. AlphaSense is incredibly powerful, but the breadth of features and information can sometimes feel overwhelming, particularly for new users. I’d also like to see even more precise filtering and customization of search results to reduce noise and surface the most relevant information faster. Those feel more like opportunities to make an already strong product even more intuitive and efficient.

AlphaSense solves the problem of fragmented, time-consuming research. Instead of manually searching through filings, earnings calls, expert interviews, analyst reports, news, and internal documents, I can find and synthesize relevant information in one place. Its AI-powered search and summarization tools help me get to the key insights much faster, while source-level citations make it easier to validate what I’m seeing

Limited visualization and costly in nature

Helps in reasearch of financial data and provide inside information with AI automation that leads to time savings.

The agents that pull financial information about the industry are helpful and make it easier to gather the data I need.

I don’t like that the agents’ outputs can’t be configured for color, font type, or formatting when downloading to Word, like with Claude or GPT.
