What do you like best about the product?

Its natural language processing decrypts the complex business language in a fine way, the AI-powered smart synonyms correctly capture relevant variations of search terms so I do not miss critical information.

What do you dislike about the product?

The high cost is the main reason I dislike it. Also, using some of its advanced features can require formal training at times.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

It helps me with proactive regression and performance mapping when my product integrates with third-party software. It also helps me monitor vendor roadmaps, so I can build proactive regression tests to protect my platform from sudden updates or breaking API changes.

Saves time. All business-related searches are much easier now, and it has massively cut down on my research time.

Sometimes I feel irrelevant results popup specifically for the cases where there are lesser sources available

The main downside is that AlphaSense can take some time to learn, especially when you start using its more advanced search and filtering features. With so much information available, it can feel overwhelming at times, and searches often need a bit of refinement to surface the most relevant results. The AI-generated insights are helpful, but I still prefer to verify anything important against the original sources.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

AlphaSense cuts down the time and effort needed to find, analyze, and monitor market and company intelligence, helping teams make better-informed decisions more quickly.

What do you like best about the product?

The AI search is getting better. It would be great if more companies were included, especially those that are listed on their respective countries’ stock exchanges. That would be nice.

What do you dislike about the product?

Extracting the chat or tables is still not very user friendly. That could be made better and easier.

Gives all information in one place. Searches all topics needed. Example - price increase in certain products, impact of the trade tariffs etc..

Huge content library brings filings, earnings calls, expert transcripts, broker research, news and financial data into one platform. Interesting product working at the intersection of AI, data, search and financial research.

Real-time financial data coverage could be better, particularly compared with specialized financial-data platforms. AI responses aren’t always strong for complex or long-term analysis, especially across multiple quarters/documents.

Information scattered across multiple sources — brings financial filings, earnings calls, expert transcripts, news, research and other content into one platform. Reducing research time — users can quickly find relevant information across huge volumes of documents instead of manually searching through them.

I really like how the smart synonyms feature works. Even if I don't type the exact phrasing, it still finds all the relevant mentions in broker research and financial reports. It ensures I never miss critical market insights.

The platform is really powerful, but the learning curve is pretty steep. It takes a good chunk of time for new users to get used to the advanced search filters without feeling completely overwhelmed by all the data.

It tackles data fragmentation. Having earnings calls, broker reports, expert insights, and news organized under one roof is a massive time-saver. It completely eliminates the risk of missing critical market details, and the semantic search is smart enough to know exactly what I'm looking for even if I don't use the exact keywords. It basically gives me hours of my week back.

AlphaSense can be used by many types of professionals who want a deeper understanding and real examples. In my area (finance), it’s widely used by different firms to support consulting and marketing data needs. Overall, it’s a very strong tool.

I don’t like how much we rely on AlphaSense, because there are often grey areas that still need updates and additional input. The resulting back-and-forth can end up wasting time and slowing things down.

It’s a highly searchable platform built on publicly available knowledge. I can quickly pull transcripts and efficiently analyze public filings, which makes research accurate and relevant.

Alphasense is our go to tool for deep research for market intelligence, interface and summary are really helpful for making a sense of the data.
