Easy-to-Manage Security Training with Strong Reporting and Smooth Microsoft 365 Integration

    Reviewed on Aug 03, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training is how easy it is to manage and how effective it has been in improving employees’ security awareness. The interface feels intuitive, campaigns are quick to set up, and the reporting tools make it simple to track completion and spot users who may need follow-up.

The Microsoft 365 and Phish Alert Button integrations work smoothly and make it easier for users to report suspicious emails directly from Outlook. Overall, the platform has been reliable, and phishing simulations are straightforward to deploy and manage.

The training content is engaging without taking too much time, which has helped boost participation across our organization. From a value standpoint, it delivers a strong return on investment by reducing phishing risk while requiring minimal administrative effort. Support has also been responsive whenever we’ve had questions, which has made onboarding and ongoing management feel smooth.
What do you dislike about the product?
One area that could be improved is how phishing simulation tracking is handled. In one of my phishing campaigns, I noticed that when a user forwarded a simulated phishing email to someone else, the system would sometimes register that action as a click and mark the original user as failed.

This then required manual investigation by the administrator to confirm whether the recorded click was legitimate or simply the result of the email being forwarded, followed by manually removing the incorrect failure entry. In larger campaigns, this can quickly become time-consuming.

It would be helpful to have a more reliable detection method—for example, distinguishing between the original recipient’s actual click and activity triggered by forwarding—or an automated workflow/workaround that reduces the need for manual review.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before implementing KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training, it was challenging to consistently measure employee security awareness and pinpoint where users needed extra guidance.

With KnowBe4, we can run regular phishing simulations, deliver targeted training, and monitor user progress through detailed reporting. This has helped us strengthen employee awareness, spot risky behaviors, and provide additional education when it’s needed.

The Phish Alert Button integration has also made it easier for users to report suspicious emails directly, which allows us to respond more quickly and improve our overall security posture. Overall, the platform has reduced the manual effort involved in managing awareness training while still giving us measurable insight into our organization’s phishing resilience.

An Essential Part of Our Security Awareness Programme Helping Build a Stronger Security Culture

    Reviewed on Jul 21, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
We've been using KnowBe4 for our security awareness training and phishing simulations, and it's made managing our programme much more straightforward. The dashboard gives us a clear view of everything in one place, making it easy to track campaigns, monitor user progress and identify where we need to focus our efforts.

One feature that's saved us a lot of time is the automatic enrolment of new starters into baseline assessments. It removes a manual task from our onboarding process and ensures everyone starts from the same point. Scheduling quarterly training campaigns is simple, and it's just as easy to launch targeted phishing simulations or awareness campaigns in response to emerging threats, which means our training stays relevant throughout the year rather than becoming an annual tick-box exercise.

The integration with our existing systems took a little while to get right, largely because of the work required with our IT provider, but KnowBe4's support team was excellent throughout. They worked directly with our IT team to help resolve issues quickly and made what could have been a frustrating process much smoother.

We've also been able to measure real improvements. Seeing our Phish-prone Percentage (PPP) reduce after each campaign has been a great way to demonstrate that the training is making a tangible difference to our users' behaviour. The Phish Alert Button has also made it much easier for staff to report suspicious emails, helping build a stronger security culture across the organisation.

The customer support has been excellent from day one. We have regular check-in calls with our account representative, who is always knowledgeable, professional and genuinely helpful. Whether we have a technical question, need advice on campaign planning or want to get more from the platform, the support has always been responsive and proactive. Overall, KnowBe4 has become an important part of our security awareness programme, giving us confidence that we're continuously improving rather than simply delivering mandatory training.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's nothing that I don't like about it
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a PR agency, our people are constantly communicating with clients, journalists, partners and suppliers via email, making them a natural target for phishing and social engineering attacks. A successful attack could expose confidential client information, disrupt campaigns or damage the trust we've built with our clients over many years.

KnowBe4 helps us tackle that risk by making security awareness an ongoing part of our culture rather than a once-a-year exercise. Regular phishing simulations and bite-sized training keep cybersecurity front of mind, while giving us visibility into where additional education is needed. We've seen our Phish-prone Percentage (PPP) decrease over time, giving us confidence that our team is becoming better at recognising and reporting suspicious emails.

From a business perspective, it also saves us valuable time. Automated onboarding, simple campaign scheduling and clear reporting mean we can run an effective awareness programme without needing dedicated security resources. As a smaller business, that's important because we need solutions that deliver measurable improvements without creating additional administrative burden.

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of applying training and great quality and quantity of the content produced. The platform has simple and intuitive navigation. It also features integrations with Microsoft, which facilitates usage and tracking of metrics. We recently updated the plan and pricing and received positive feedback on the quality of the training and the platform's performance. Now, let's start implementing artificial intelligence in user evaluations, in conjunction with Support, to assist us in this process.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a delay in updating some old content and also in generating reports.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Risk and probability of an organization employee falling for a phishing scam, in addition to other security-related topics.
