What do you like best about the product?
To be fair coming from Vimeo, the pricing. Without loosing much on features.
Also having actual representatives that can lead you through hurdles and questions is very rare for these type of tools, so major props to the "support" team for being a there and being understanding!

Coming from Vimeo that is video based instead of minutes for Gumlet.

Problem: a to expensive Vimeo subscription for a small business that likes to deliver enterprise quality.

Gumlet is go to software for protected video hosting with DRM integration
What do you like best about the product?
I deviced to buy Gumlet video beacause i have seen many established companies use it for image hosting. My requirement was to setup VIdeo Hosting for LMS system. Appsumo plan provided great cost benefit while achiving this goal. Dashboard is clean and neat. Documentation is avaialble for each and every topic. Video protection features like watermark are essential these days to protect videos. Domain based protection for embedding is another good thing.
What do you dislike about the product?
Regular pricing for Gumlet is very high and there is no support of DRM protection in lower variant subscriptions. This is big disappointment and forces customer to buy higher priced version. But many content creaters need to protect small amount of videos with DRM, so it is not suitable for this use case.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gumlet help us solve piracy issue for educational videos and generate higher revenue.

I was looking for an affordable video hosting platform for my e-learning website and this tool is awesome for my usecase.

Two words: FAST and EASY! What else could you want?
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ability to embed videos almost anywhere and have them load instantaneously. It's great for VSLs and intro videos on your home pages or other landing page, especially if you're going to send ad traffic since speed is an important factor for conversions.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would have liked some free custom domains included and maybe a little bit more storage, but it's pretty fair-priced to add custom domains. Storage is also fairly inexpensive if I need more - so far I've barely used what's included. Overall fantastic tool and true Vimeo competitor.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A reliable, fast way of hosting all of my videos. For me, speed and reliability are crucial as I need to make sure to leave a good first impression for clients and I also don't want to chase broken links. Furthermore, client videos should be delivered with the same care.

They recently included "AI chapters & descriptions" and that's awesome!

Always had the problem with speed "unkown" (limited to the availability) and forced advertising that I can't control of embedding videos uploaded to free resources (such as Youtube, others) for my community to access.

What do you like best about the product?
Sleek UI, Dark Mode, Fast performance, buffer free video play and custom branding on each video collection. Support is great and responsive. Very easy to setup and work.

As of now there is nothing to dislike for me. Its working and solving my problems efficiently.

Embeding generic youtube videos on website looks cheap. Gumlet allows to host videos and custom branding it. and its blazing fast.

What do you like best about the product?
I'm a solopreneur and need a video player and cloud based solution for a variety of video styles and educational videos. Saw this, grabbed the deal, and am extremely suprised at how easy it is to embed on wordpress, able to utilize with another saas product I have, and also utilize with automation services. Haven't had any issue with playback or page speed, and gumlet has been pretty responsive to questions. Highly reccommend!
What do you dislike about the product?
Bit of a learning curve, similar to what others have pointed out, but nothing impossible to learn. Again, support is great for if you need it, and if you browse through FAQ one should be able to pick up on what is needed.

Collectively archive videos in the cloud, host invitees on a platform for future healthcare worker CEU's, and also help with subscription based videos as an alternative to youtube.
Easy to Use Interface with Gumlet and Great for Use Case
What do you like best about the product?
Gumlet offers an intuitive interface and seamless navigation, making it incredibly easy to use. I’ve been using Gumlet to upload and manage footage from our dodgeball leagues, and it's been working as intended. Having a centralized repository for all our video content ensures quick and smooth access, whether we’re sharing highlights, creating promotional content, or archiving games for future reference. The platform’s speed and efficiency are pretty good, and it has streamlined our workflow. It’s been a good tool for our needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
The subscribers across channels seems a little bit low for us. I guess we will be using YouTube mainly for subscription based so I guess it doesn't make sense to me why Gumlet chooses to structure it in this way. But aside from that, everything seems pretty good functionality wise.

Gumlet is providing a centralized repository of all the videos that we upload for our community. It gives us an opportunity to share the content to our community members.
