Communication has been very smooth; they have always been open to collaboration, and that attitude always leads to valuable projects and opportunities for both partners

We’ve carried out some integration work and some interesting joint projects have come our way

What do you like best about the product?

Easy set up, multiple IoT devices connected without any problem. The platform is stable. The dashboard configuration is quite easy. The UI is understandable, supports multiple devices, integration with the Swisscom LORA network makes it a huge plus. The technical support is available and proactive. I did not use any of the rules for the data though. I'm on a free plan, but I would say that the first upgrade is a bit expensive for our purpose. I would appreciate a basic plan for less than 100 CHF. I did not use any IA capabilities so I don't have anything to sa in that respect.

I would appreciate a paying option for less than 100 CHF/month.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Akenza allow us to improve our market offer with IoT data that provides real value to our clients.

What do you like best about the product?

For me, one of the best things about Akenza is that the platform is easy to use and everything just works! There are easy workflows that you can customize (e.g. an off-the-shelf gateway connected to your recently purchased sensor which then pushes all of your collected data via API or email). And the workflows are built with "connectors." Everything is self-explanatory and there is a lot of documentation. I built a custom LoRa device that I was having trouble setting up and the Akenza team helped me set up best IoT practices and is always available when I need them. I've been with Akenza for about 1.5 years and have been sending data from 8 devices for the last year.

What do you dislike about the product?

The basic setup is super intuitive, but diving into more advanced features, like setting up custom integrations, took a bit of trial and error. Some more examples would be helpful.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

We are a startup with limited capital so Akenza is helping us collect the data we need and push the data to a platform for our clients without needing to invest into backend and frontend infrastructure. This is especially important since we're at a phase where we need to focus on product-market fit and when we might pivot.

What do you like best about the product?

The configuration is simple to manage because of the WiFi provisioning procedure. The remote control layout is impressive for its ability to control multiple devices and apps.

What do you dislike about the product?

I found it a little difficult to learn and use, but eventually it went smoothly.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

This platform provides an easiest way to submit any data to our web servers and visualize the data, with logging and remote controlling of IOT devices.

What do you like best about the product?

In Akenza I can quickly integrate almost any sensor or device with LoRaWAN and many other options. I was able to easily create how my devices would connect using the drag-and-drop feature for rules and automations.

What do you dislike about the product?

Regarding data visualization, there are some gaps in Akenza’s offering. This makes it hard to evaluate the trends and decide on insights garnered by my adorning devices.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Akenza has been useful in dealing with the increasing number of IoT devices that I connect to the internet. The platform frees up the work of adding devices and starting the collection of data and setup of automations.

What do you like best about the product?

With the akenza platform, we significantly reduce development time and maintenance effort needed to aggregate and harmonize data from our edge devices and sensors.

Pricing and billing should be more transparent.

Problems:
Integration of various IoT devices and systems can be technically complex and resource-intensive. Akenza simplifies this process with a user-friendly platform.
IoT systems are vulnerable to security breaches. Akenza offers security features to protect IoT networks.

Benefits:
Streamlines operations by automating processes and reducing the manual workload.
Reduces the need for custom development and lowers the barrier to entry for IoT solutions.
Provides a secure framework for IoT devices, which is critical for user trust and regulatory compliance.

What do you like best about the product?

I find pre-built device profiles and data flow management which are already created in Akenza useful. Installation of new sensors is quite simple and I can simply reroute the data to any application of my choice.

What do you dislike about the product?

Akenza already has limited data visualization capabilities. It is somewhat limiting to develop Infographics or Customize your Dashboard, or do some further analytical work.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Concerning the aspects of using Akenza, I am now able to manage and link my IoT devices in a very simple way. The pre-constructed templates and ways of data management do not require flavors of coding and I am able to concentrate on creating applications and derive solutions from the data.

What do you like best about the product?

The possibility to pay for equipment piece by piece. The proximity and responsiveness of customer service. The simplicity of use.

What do you dislike about the product?

The presence of a smartphone application with data preview would be a plus.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Swisscom LPN network already integrated into the platform. No need to multiply subscriptions and create additional links between Swisscom platform and Akenza.

What do you like best about the product?

I really like that there's some preexistant models for a diffrent kind of devices. The dashboards looks great and they're easily customizable.

The support is really amazing, they're extremly supportive and proefficient, it help me a lot with my first sensor installation.

The LoRa integration with some third party provider is also well appreciated!

What do you dislike about the product?

Maybe that a guide with some first steps to create the first devices may be useful.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

With Akenza we're able to monitor the energy consumption of our whole commune.

The team is very responsive and knowledgeable

Integrating various IoT devices, protocols, and data sources into a single user-friendly platform. Monitoring the health and performance of IoT devices and performing regular maintenance can be resource-intensive, but it becomes super easy with Akenza.
