Great Video Hosting for Client Sharing and Embeds
What do you like best about the product?
Vimeo is great for hosting videos. We use it specifically to host all of our video projects that we can link for our clients to either download the video or use it to embed on their own websites. I like it best for the hosting abilities.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike about Vimeo is probably the amount of space they give you for video for the price plan that you're in. It gives me the feeling that I'm about to run out of space or not enough and have to start deleting videos already on the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is solving the ability for me to host videos on the site. So that I do not need to find an alternative and the pricing is decent. Our clients are able to download the videos and or use the links to embed on their own sites. We also use it to embed on our property websites for clients to use.

What do you like best about the product?
The platform is intuitive to use, with clean organization tools that make managing videos simple. I also really value the privacy and sharing controls, which make it easy to securely share content with specific audiences and collaborate with teammates or clients without friction.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Vimeo offers a strong overall experience, some of the more advanced features can come with a bit of a learning curve, and certain capabilities are gated behind higher-tier plans. It would be helpful to have a bit more flexibility and access to features without needing to upgrade.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vimeo is solving the challenge of hosting and sharing high-quality video content in a professional, secure, and ad-free environment. Instead of relying on more public platforms, it allows us to control how and where our videos are viewed, manage access permissions, and gather feedback in one place
Clean, Ad-Free Video Hosting and Sharing But Less Suited For Quick Recordings
What do you like best about the product?
Vimeo is good for hosting and sharing videos, and it provides a clean viewing experience without ads, which works well when I’m sharing content externally.
What do you dislike about the product?
It’s not very quick or convenient for recording, which makes it feel slow for quick walk-through thoughts and day-to-day communication. Overall, it comes across as less efficient.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Earlier, Vimeo helped with hosting and recording videos in a professional way. However, for quick and faster communication it feels less suitable for day-to-day use, though it can be occasionally good when I have some time. Also, its pricing increases with higher plans and usage.
Quick Video Uploads to Vimeo with Great Editing and AI Features
What do you like best about the product?
Its quick and easy to upload to videos to Vimeo. I like the video editing and AI features too

I honestly can't think of anything that I dislike about Vimeo

A central library of videos that can be stored and updated in a central place.
Easy-to-Use Vimeo With Powerful Editing Tools and a Standout GIF Feature
What do you like best about the product?
What’s not to love? The UX/UI is easy to use, and there are additional tools that let you edit your video however you want. I’m a big fan of the GIF feature—it’s really leveled up our email marketing creative.
What do you dislike about the product?
There’s really nothing to dislike about Vimeo. In my experience, it’s the premier video hosting platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It addresses the video capabilities we need for our e-commerce website and helps us support video content more effectively.
Easy video sharing, with links that don't change
What do you like best about the product?
Possibility to share videos and if you need to replace them, just resend without changing the links already spread around.
What do you dislike about the product?
The provided band, I think it's little, with many limitations and expensive.

What do you like best about the product?
Great video hosting platform, Ive been using it over a decade. I appreciate the focus on quality video, and large storage limits.

Lack of simple editing features. The API could be far more robust

Basic Features and Uncertain Direction Challenge Vimeo's Appeal
What do you like best about the product?
I used to value the gallery management features and the fantastic community of filmmakers and creative people. Knowing that our videos would be included in that mix and seen by people in the industry was really valuable.
What do you dislike about the product?
The management features were really basic when we were using it. I don't know if that's improved or not. The direction Vimeo seems to be moving in is different from what it originally was, making it less appealing for us. It's hard to know exactly what is up with Vimeo or what direction it's gonna go in, and I would be cautious about adopting it right now.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I used Vimeo for video hosting, allowing our members to upload videos temporarily for competitions. We valued the gallery management features and the community of filmmakers, but found it basic and ultimately moved to a specialized solution.
User-Friendly Platform for Hosting Team Videos
What do you like best about the product?
I like the fact we can host all our videos on one platform that the entire team can access. It is very user friendly and great to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Occasionally some videos do not buffer properly leading to slow playback.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Previously I was using YouTube to host videos. Due to their content laws I was not able to upload videos that contained certain information for clients but I can with Vimeo.

I like the customizable video hosting offering high-quality playback for creators and businesses.

Pricing structure is really expensive specially for small creators.
