Pricey but effective
What do you like best about the product?
I like that they have so many connectors. It's also very easy to use and set up.
I love that it's so popular and has a freemium model, because that means there are a lot of tutorials on the internet for me to use.
I use this tool every day, in conjunction with another tool, to get all my Amazon API data into a database that I use.

What do you dislike about the product?
Lack of depth on Amazon, as well as price.
They don't go "deep" in every connector the way some companies do, but what they lack in depth, they have in breadth.

Allowing me to connect to API data that I wouldn't have otherwise.

I move data from key data sources into my database. I have SQL experience, however lack deep technical background. Airbyte made the process of accessing key data sources in one central database.

We had to develop our own solution python etl as airbyte couldnt connect and transfer more than 10000 rows

1. Usage is not very transparent it goes up and down without explaination

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a CRM platform where users can see all the data generated from POS OR ecommerce , for any other data source we wanted to put all the ETL workloads pipeline separate and were using Airbyte for same

I appreciate how Airbyte makes it easy to connect and sync data from a wide range of sources without requiring extensive setup or coding. The platform’s user-friendly interface, flexible connectors, and active community support make it simple to integrate new data pipelines and customize them to fit specific needs. Frequent updates and clear documentation also help streamline the process, saving both time and effort.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Airbyte offers a lot of flexibility and useful features, there can be a steep learning curve for new users, especially when configuring more complex connectors. Occasionally, I’ve encountered issues with connector stability or incomplete documentation, which can slow down implementation. Additionally, some advanced features may require more technical expertise or troubleshooting than expected, which can be challenging for teams with limited engineering resources.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Airbyte is helping us centralize data from multiple sources, which used to be a time-consuming and manual process. By automating data integration and extraction, Airbyte saves us a significant amount of time and reduces the risk of errors. This streamlined approach allows our team to focus more on data analysis and business insights rather than on maintaining custom scripts or manual workflows. Overall, it’s made our data management much more efficient and scalable.

What do you like best about the product?
After trying different ETL tools, we decided to go with Airbyte because of their ease of implementation, integration, use, and transparent pricing structure.
What do you dislike about the product?
We have everything we need. To this day, we have nothing to say about Airbyte that we dislike.

Ingesting data from various sources without thinking about schema changes.
Best of both worlds
What do you like best about the product?
Airbyte offers the great benefits of an open source community and standards while providing great value with their cloud based offerings. Being able to self host an instance is the best thing about Airbyte and has made it the go-to choice compared to competitors.
What do you dislike about the product?
The cloud based offerings can become expensive as you scale, but this can be mitigated with self hosting.

Airbyte makes it easy to store, manage, and integrate our data across platforms.

I don't have anything specific that I dislike about Airbyte thus far!

Storing large amounts of data and passing it between systems
Easy to use, but Airbyte Cloud can get a bit pricey.
What do you like best about the product?
Like any EL tool, Airbyte allows you to spend less time building EL pipelines and more time focusing on what you actually need to get done. It was super easy to set up, and basically runs itself.
What do you dislike about the product?
Unfortunately, due to the nature of the data we're using with Airbyte Cloud, the monthly costs have ended up being much more than we expected. We'll either have to switch to the on-prem version or to an EL tool that charges per modified row.

Airbyte helps us get our data into our data warehouse quickly and efficiently with very little setup or maintenance involved.
