Meaningful Engineering Challenges with HYPR’s Passwordless Security
What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about HYPR is how technical depth and practical execution go hand in hand. The focus on passwordless authentication and strong security fundamentals is genuinely interesting to work on, and the engineering challenges feel meaningful rather than just theoretical.
What do you dislike about the product?
At times, the pace can feel fast, and things may change quickly as the product evolves. Occasionally that can make it harder to keep everything fully aligned, but it’s understandable in a growing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
HYPR is solving real problems around password fatigue, security risks, and poor user experience by enabling strong, passwordless authentication. That benefits me by letting me work on solutions that are both technically solid and clearly valuable to customers
Efficient Biometric Auth, Needs Better Logging
What do you like best about the product?
I use HYPR for biometric authentication, and I like that it allows us to support device-based biometric logins without the need to develop and update our own intensive system. It's overall easy to manage, and the device-based biometrics work well from what I've experienced. We have a custom portal that links into the HYPR API, which provides easy management access to our internal staff. I believe that the initial setup is straightforward after creating a new image for our specific setup requirements but I would say the ease of setup depends on what systems you are integrating it with specificaly.
What do you dislike about the product?
The logging against the platform, specifically error logging, could be improved. In our deployment, we see a huge amount of error messages often, most of which do not actually require any intervention. It's not possible to stop them at a log level either from some of these specific errors which can make it difficult to sort through the logs when required.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
HYPR allows us to support device-based biometric logins without developing our own system, saving time and effort. It's easy to manage, and the device-based biometrics work well.
Easy for End Users and Admins, But the JSON Installer Can Be Finicky
What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to use for the End User, and relatively easy to administer.
What do you dislike about the product?
The installer can sometimes be a bit finicky with the JSON that goes along side it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
HYPR allows our users to sign into their workstations without remembering passwords.
Effortless Security and Compliance Tool
What do you like best about the product?
HYPR enables us to meet both regulatory and insurance requirements, providing continuous security for all our business operations around the clock, every day of the year. I hardly ever need to reach out to support because the platform is so reliable, and since we began using it, we've never experienced a service outage.
What do you dislike about the product?
Everyone always complains about the length of their security timeout being too short, but this isn't HYPR's fault, they're simply the face for our workforce.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
HYPR serves as our MFA provider for access to workstations, securing all downstream activity. It reduces the need to manage password resets, and provides robust solutions for anything that might impact a user's ability to access a workstation.
I always receive the passwordless push right away to complete my authentication.

The two factor authentication using HYPER works flawless.

So far everything works well for me using HYPER

Remove password from consumer flow
Just works. Passwordless access to Windows PC and Entra AD.

Passwordless access to Windows PC domain joined.
What do you dislike about the product?
Currently doesn't support domain joined PC automatic sign on for Edge & OneDrive. Issue with getting PRT token using federated domain, so users have to manually sign into Edge/OneDrive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have to have MFA for our Windows PC for compliance purposes. HYPR solves this requirement.

What do you like best about the product?
As a consultant I've only implemented Hypr in one environment but I can honestly say that the admin of the network reports his users absolutely love it. And if the users love it then that tells the true story.
What do you dislike about the product?
Slow to implement full scale integration. Relies on Windows PKI so implementation in a windows network can be encompassing. Better call a consultant. :)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Users hate passwords. Really hate and this takes care of them.
Seamless and quick authenticator
What do you like best about the product?
You just don't need to keep typing your 2FA, best passworless solution for multi factor authentication. Integration is seamless, just scan the QR and you are ready to use your configured apps on Okta without any hassle of repeating or remembering your passcode.
What do you dislike about the product?
The setup process at times is really tricky and takes too long. Manual method is also something which misses at times in getting account to configure. Most problematic issue is if device gets lost which has been configured, on your new device you need to follow the entire process of setup again. You cannot use email and password to resetup again
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hypr has been a charm in terms of accessing any application using 2FA can be integrated and logged in like in no time. Workday being the primary app just logs in second no hassle to tangle between apps to authenticate and then login.
