What do you like best about the product?

Tecnomatix provides an exceptional environment for digital manufacturing and complex production line simulation. What stands out most is Plant Simulation’s ability to model detailed discrete-event workflows, evaluate line throughput, and flag material handling bottlenecks before committing physical capital expenditure. The 3D factory layout visualization enables our industrial engineering team to stress-test alternative process configurations, optimize buffer sizes, and validate cycle times early. It creates a unified collaborative workspace for process planners, manufacturing engineers, and operations leads.

What do you dislike about the product?

The initial learning curve for custom SimTalk scripting and advanced kinematics modeling is relatively steep for junior engineers. Access to expanded industry-specific reference libraries and modular template examples out of the box would accelerate early model creation.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Deploying new production lines without prior digital validation led to unexpected assembly line bottlenecks and costly physical re-tooling. Tecnomatix allows us to simulate material flows digitally, eliminate operational inefficiencies, and optimize resource utilization across our manufacturing facilities.

What do you like best about the product?

What I found useful was being able to move beyond looking at individual steps and consider the process as a whole. It has also given us something more concrete to work from when discussing potential improvements.

What do you dislike about the product?

It hasn't been completely plug and play. There was some back and forth around getting the model and requirements clear, and we had to revisit part of the setup before it made sense for our needs. Since the project is ongoing, we're still learning how best to use the capabilities rather than treating it as a finished implementation.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

As Show Up Club continues to develop, having a better way to understand how different processes work together has become increasingly useful. Our work with Tecnomatix has focused on digital twin capabilities, giving us a way to represent processes digitally and look at how changes could affect the wider operation.

What I found most useful was being able to test ideas in a simulated environment rather than immediately changing the live process. It gave us something concrete to review when discussing possible improvements with the team.

The project is still ongoing, and there has been some back-and-forth while we refined the process details and made sure the simulation reflected what we actually needed. That part took a little longer than expected, but the ability to review different scenarios has made the work more structured. For us, Tecnomatix has been useful as we continue looking at ways to improve our processes as the business develops.

As BERO continues to grow, having a clearer view of how operational processes may perform before making changes has become increasingly useful. We used Tecnomatix for driver process simulation to examine different scenarios and understand where adjustments could affect the wider process.

New users find Tecnomatix very complex and the simulation part needs technical help. The software needs proper training and this requires commitment and dedication.

We have used Tecnomatix to plan, simulate and optimize our processes and this helps us maximize on productivity and performance. The app guides us in capturing operational inefficiencies, and this eliminates the unnecessary production errors. The app has focused on resource utilization, something that makes our company attractive and successful. The tool creates a brilliant collaborative experience, which allows all the stakeholders to work together.

I like the modularity of Tecnomatix, as it facilitates expanding the analysis from individual stations to the entire plant. I also appreciate the accuracy and depth of its kinematic simulation, which is quite valuable.

The interface of Tecnomatix could use some modernization to not only update its look but also improve the interoperability of native CAD data between different versions. Additionally, setting up and defining the modeling standards was challenging.

Tecnomatix helps by simulating exact kinematics and control logic, ensuring process engineering aligns with reality from day one. The modularity facilitates expansion from individual stations to the whole plant.

I really liked the depth of its simulation capabilities, and the fact that it can use real-time data to make adjustments to the simulations is particularly powerful. It gives me more confidence in the decisions we make.

So far, the main thing that feels a bit complicated is the interface. It isn’t very intuitive, and I think modifying it would greatly improve the overall user experience.

What do you like best about the product?

I find Tecnomatix most valuable when I need to understand how a manufacturing change might behave before anything is physically altered. Instead of relying only on assumptions or manual trials, I can create and examine a digital version of the process. That makes it simply pleasant to study production sequences and potential bottlenecks. The performance has also been good during simulations and process analysis. Having this level of visibility makes our planning much more practical. Once the workflow becomes familiar, the software gives me a practical way to explore different manufacturing scenarios.

What do you dislike about the product?

I think they could improve the onboarding system, since it’s really helpful for new users before they can work confidently with the more advanced functions. Aside from that one issue, everything else has been working well so far.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

I see the main practical benefit of Tecnomatix when a manufacturing team is considering a change but does not want to discover its consequences through trial and error on the shop floor. We can recreate the proposed process digitally, adjust different variables, and examine possible bottlenecks before anything is physically changed. The UX takes some familiarity, but it gives us access to detailed process information once we understand the workflow. Reliable performance also matters because simulations need to respond well when we are comparing multiple scenarios.

What do you like best about the product?

Copilot is integrated into the process simulation and the hemming operation tab.

What do you dislike about the product?

One challenge we’ve heard is that when the CAD design changes significantly, engineers may have to update or even recreate the kinematics, and then revalidate the simulation from scratch.
