What do you like best about the product?

I like the centralized services of Workday Financial Management because everything is connected and in one place. This makes it easy for me to manage various tasks without juggling multiple platforms. The setup was also very easy with low friction, which was a relief and made the transition seamless.

What do you dislike about the product?

The UI can look a bit more modern, especially compared to some competitors. A more intuitive design overall, with cleaner blocks and buttons and a softer color palette, would be great.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Workday Financial Management helps manage decentralized work streams and file management, offering centralized services with everything connected and in one place.

What do you like best about the product?

The UI is very user friendly and easy to navigate. The integration to the other tools were very easy and employee training was seamless. Compared to the tool we used prior to Workday Financial Management, the daily reporting has become easier over time. The performance thus far has been great and conducive to what were wanting and needing. The price point a little bit higher, but worth the ROI. The AI features are adaptive, still not have not utilized that tool much. All in all, financial data, workforce data, and operational data can be analyzed together in real time, helping organizations make faster decisions.

What do you dislike about the product?

To be honest, still getting use to the functionality, but no complaints. I enjoy that the new tool is easy to navigate, used daily, and performance has been upgraded form our prior product.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

All in all, financial data, workforce data, and operational data can be analyzed together in real time, helping organizations make faster decisions - love the product.

What do you like best about the product?

The ability to pull data from all of our systems into one to show us any issues. I also like the ability to report and view from all aspects of workday.

What do you dislike about the product?

At this time, some of the delivered reports are very basic, as with a lot of workday, if they could provide more robust and detailed reports for financial tracking, it would be better.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Workday is providing us with better data and insights with the availability to report off of multiple operating areas such as benefits, payroll, etc. It is nice to be in one system

Workday Financial Management is transparent and makes it easy to view high-level overviews, while still allowing me to drill down into individual data points or specific information whenever I need to.

What do you dislike about the product?

There’s a steep learning curve. While some actions and tasks are fairly intuitive, other processes require the user to go through multiple steps that seem unnecessary just to reach the same result.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

The Total Rewards and Compensation records and analysis make managing my team easier because the information is readily available, and I can print or download it whenever necessary.

What do you like best about the product?

Workday Financial Management is that it brings financial information and processes together in one centralized system. It makes it easier to access real-time data, track transactions, and complete financial tasks efficiently. I also appreciate the reporting capabilities and the ability to find the information needed to make informed decisions without having to use multiple systems. The value is good compared to the cost. Workday Financial Management provides useful tools, centralized information, and reporting capabilities that can improve efficiency and reduce the time spent on manual processes. While the cost can be significant, the overall functionality and convenience provide reasonable value.

What do you dislike about the product?

It can sometimes feel complicated and not very user-friendly. Certain tasks require several steps, and it is not always easy to locate the information or feature you need without additional guidance or training.

Workday Financial Management helps solve the challenge of keeping financial information organized and accessible in one place. It streamlines processes, reduces the need for manual tracking, and provides better visibility into financial data. This benefits me by saving time, improving accuracy, and making it easier to complete tasks and find the information I need.

I like using Workday Financial Management because it allows me to maintain accuracy and stay in contact with employees who have questions or concerns. The easy-to-use tools and clean interface, along with the variety of options, make it valuable. It helps me do my job more efficiently and allows me to share information with fellow employees and colleagues. It's very user-friendly.

I find Workday Financial Management helps me maintain accuracy and perform my job efficiently. It facilitates my communication with employees and allows me to share information with colleagues, maintaining accurate accounting for all employee-related processes.

What do you like best about the product?

I use Workday Financial Management to review company financial data and monitor forecasts and budgets, which gives me a centralized view of all financial tasks, simplifying day-to-day finance management. I like that information is available in real time, with all the reports I need in one system, making decision-making faster and easier and allowing for easier analysis of results. Having financial data and reporting in one place improved my visibility and made information more accessible. I used to rely on outdated reports or spreadsheets, but having real-time information allows me to quickly identify budget variances, monitor spending, and respond to issues immediately.

What do you dislike about the product?

I find that some reports require customization. I have to add required fields and modify how I want to view the data.

What do you like best about the product?

Having HCM and Finance in one system is very helpful. Managing expenses, credit cards, bank settlements, everything is now smooth. Reporting is easy and dashboards are very helpful. Managing cost centers between HCM and finance is streamlined.

What do you dislike about the product?

There is no such disappointment yet. Sometimes changing cost centers or company for finance purposes needs readjustment for HCM reporting and integrations.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Workday HCM and finance in the same system helps keep things smooth. Credit card transactions, bank settlements, BIRT report designs are helpful.

What do you like best about the product?

I like having my financial information centralized in one place and being able to easily track & manage financial activity. The visibility and history make it easier to understand what has changed and stay organized

What do you dislike about the product?

It can feel complex and difficult to navigate, especially when completing tasks that require multiple steps. It can sometimes be challenging to know where to find specific information or understand the best workflow for completing an action...I enjoy breadcrumb trails

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Having everything in one place - organization and efficiency when it comes to finances! This makes it easier for me to find the information I actually need, understand financial activity, and keep better records

What do you like best about the product?

Prepaid threshold logic actually improved — Workday applies the $200K threshold at the invoice header level automatically, which used to require manual admin work in Oracle. Additional accrual runs became possible in Workday that weren't available before (INTL benefited from this; AMER didn't yet in the timeframe discussed).

What do you dislike about the product?

Reporting gaps versus Oracle — AC batches journal entries with little to no detail on what they relate to, making it difficult to get to the detailed transactions. Lost PO-to-ERP integration entirely — POs no longer sync to Workday like they did with Oracle. Lack of support for EAE - this is a major pain point for our auditors Increase in audit fees due to increased reports and discovery boards Tableau visibility regressed

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

There are not many benefits. While we've had a couple issues resolved, more issues have come up as a result of the changing resulting in a net negative experience. We used to be able to get much more granular reporting on our POs and now we have to do twice the work to get to the same answers.
