What do you like best about the product?

What I like best about the Workday Financial Manangement system is the simplistic UI as well as the ability to reach out to support & learn how to use the system efficiently.

What do you dislike about the product?

I dislike how the AI intelligence in it, trying to autofill words or anything that I type since every order is usually different & I dislike how there isn't really that much integration (or at least not mentioned directly in Workday.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

The problems that Workday Financial Manangement is currently is solving for me is the ability to process & provide me with multiple spreadsheets at a time, which shows how good its performance is.

What do you like best about the product?

I liked how Workday Financial Management made journal entries very easy, even for people not on the accounting team, and simplified invoice and payment request submissions using dropdowns and account descriptions. This reduced the risk of error since options could be restricted. Its simplicity was great for those not on the accounting team, reducing headaches for those in accounting because they had less errors to fix. I also enjoyed the discovery boards, which were a useful tool that allowed me to slice and dice data until it was in the format I needed, especially when specific reports were unavailable.

What do you dislike about the product?

I think there was potential for certain details to be made more clear, like I struggled to find the fields I needed sometimes. Sometimes it would cause a project I was working on to take way too long because I couldn't figure out how to pull the data I needed. Honestly, the initial setup was painful, but I think it was due to rushing the switch and not being fully prepared.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Workday Financial Management made JEs easy for non-accounting users and simplified invoice submissions, reducing errors. I also appreciated its discovery boards for customized reporting, eliminating the wait for a team to create specific reports.

What do you like best about the product?

Workday is user friendly. It's easy to record time, enter requests for time off and update my payroll elections. My favorite part is the Career hub that syncs with my companies available positions and assists with career planning.

What do you dislike about the product?

The time card format is not particularly user friendly. I'd prefer a button to clock in and out rather than having to manually record time. I specifically dislike that I have to enter both the "In" and "Out" time. If I'm recording time when I clock in I have to estimate the best time out, and if that changes I have to go back and edit. If I have to manually enter time, it would be easier to have separate entries for time in and out.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Provides one site for daily time entry, time off management, career planning, and performance review communication. Overall easy to use and make updates.

What do you like best about the product?

I like the real-time reporting, user-friendly interface, and the ability to manage financial data in one centralized system. The real-time reporting gives us instant access to up-to-date financial data, helping us make faster decisions without needing extensive training. The user-friendly interface makes it easy for teams to find information, create reports, and manage operations efficiently.

What do you dislike about the product?

The reporting customization options can be limited at times, and some workflows can feel complex and take time for new users to learn. I'd like to see more flexible reporting customization options and simpler workflows to make the platform easier to use, especially for new users.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

I use Workday Financial Management to manage finances, track expenses, and generate reports. It automates processes, improves accuracy, and gives real-time financial insights, allowing real-time visibility and enhancing overall efficiency.

What do you like best about the product?

I like that Workday Financial Management is really hands-on and easy to use and navigate. It's not complicated at all and provides me with so many results with less effort. Additionally, the initial setup was fairly easy, and after being onboarded, it's been smooth sailing ever since.

I use Workday Financial Management for coding employees for payroll, making HR tasks easier. It's hands-on, easy to navigate, and delivers results with less effort.

What do you like best about the product?

It is very user friendly, and it gives a very clear instruction for errors and things that are not going through. It is very safe to use actually and comforting.

What do you dislike about the product?

Sometimes the features and exportation might get a bit impeding, which makes us have to revert back to manual work, and thus reduces the ROI. But the AI also may need some upgrading so that we need less support.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Centralizing because having multiple platforms for multiple aspects is one of the tough problems. But workday enables data centralization in one place.

Ability to see all companies/organizations on going metrics and updates as well as pay and forms

Ability to put time in and off s well as access Pay docs

What do you dislike about the product?

That sometimes it goes offline or that if you have too many applications open it makes u sign in frequently

Sometimes it sends company updates that irrelevant to your current role

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Ability to see all docs and forms on Workday without having to bother HR or other organization employees

This is very helpful and benefits the ends user

What do you like best about the product?

We transitioned to WDF to have a single source of truth and to minimize outside integrations.

I appreciate that we can leverage our HCM build to automate financials efforts.

What do you dislike about the product?

Workday seems to struggle with 'big data'. When handling thousands of lines of data, the system crashes or takes an excessive time to process.
There is certain customization we could do with our previous provider that is not available in Workday.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Workday has enhanced our reporting and analysis tools. Specifically around spend by Cost Center, Supplier, etc. We are able to drill down and determine profitability by project.

I like most its centralized platform and powerful reporting capabilities. It makes financial data easy to access, simplifies approval workflows, and helps save time by reducing manual tasks. The reporting features provide real-time insights, helping teams make faster and more informed financial decisions while reducing manual effort.

What do you dislike about the product?

I find the interface overwhelming for new users, and some workflows require too many steps to complete simple tasks. Performance can also be slow at times, especially when loading reports or navigating between modules. The interface could be more intuitive with simpler navigation and fewer clicks for common tasks. Streamlining approval workflows and improving page load times, especially for reports, would make the overall experience faster and more user-friendly.

I also appreciate the workflow automation features.

What do you dislike about the product?

Some areas can be improved as advanced configuration may need a steep learning curve and additional training. Performance also slows down during working with large datasets. It also needs some out-of-the-box integrations for more flexibility.
