Zimperium Mobile Threat Defense provides comprehensive, real-time protection against mobile threats without impacting the user experience. We particularly value its on-device threat detection capabilities, which can identify phishing attacks, malicious applications, device compromise (rooting/jailbreaking), and network threats even without relying solely on cloud connectivity. The management console offers clear visibility into our mobile security posture, making it easy to monitor risks and respond quickly. Deployment and integration with our existing UEM environment were also straightforward.

What do you dislike about the product?

Overall, our experience has been very positive. While the solution meets our security requirements well, we would like to see continued enhancements in reporting, dashboard customization, and investigation capabilities to further simplify security operations.

Zimperium Mobile Threat Defense has enabled us to proactively protect our mobile fleet against evolving threats such as malicious applications, network attacks, and device compromise. It provides continuous visibility into device risk and helps our security team detect and respond to threats before they impact users or corporate data. This has strengthened our overall mobile security posture, reduced manual monitoring efforts, improved incident response times, and increased confidence in supporting a secure mobile workforce.

Out-of-the-box policies, along with constant updates based on the latest threats.

Dashboard customizations or KPI metrics.

What do you like best about the product?

I like the clear division of threat categories in Zimperium Mobile Threat Defense, which makes it easy to check logs and identify threats. Whenever there is any threat detected, the color of that threat category changes, making it simple for me to identify.

What do you dislike about the product?

I find that there's a lot of empty space on the Dashboard page of the management console, which could be better utilized. I also find scrolling left and right on the device and threat pages difficult and not very user-friendly. Additionally, I faced challenges during the initial setup since Zimperium Mobile Threat Defense wasn't fully designed for OT environments or shopfloor settings, but thankfully the Zimperium team provided assistance, which made it possible.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

I use Zimperium Mobile Threat Defense to secure our Android devices, detecting sideloaded apps and unsupported OS versions. The clear threat category display helps identify issues easily. However, the management console has too much empty space and difficult scrolling.

What do you like best about the product?

I like how Zimperium Mobile Threat Defense gives us visibility on the mobile device stack, letting us see what users are doing or trying to access. This helps us decide if we need to be more restrictive or allow more things through. It also enables us to provide more knowledge to the user if there's something in the stack they aren't using. Additionally, the setup was pretty streamlined; we connected with support in a thirty-minute call and got everything working in a session.

What do you dislike about the product?

It doesn't integrate with our firewall stack, so it's not a synced solution. So if something gets added on the firewall, it doesn't automatically get added to the mobile threat defense. So it's just another platform that we have to add or remove things from when things change.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

I use Zimperium Mobile Threat Defense for category based web content filtering and URL management on corporate mobile devices, providing visibility into our mobile device usage.

What I like most about Zimperium Mobile Threat Defense is its AI-powered, on-device threat detection, which protects against malware, phishing, network attacks, and compromised devices in real time—even when the device is offline. It integrates well with enterprise security platforms and is especially effective for securing mobile banking applications without impacting the user experience.

My main areas for improvement would be more intuitive administration

This strengthens our overall security posture, reduces mobile fraud risk, supports regulatory compliance, and gives users greater confidence in the security of our mobile services.

What do you like best about the product?

Accurate real-time mobile threat detection, seamless integration with MDM/UEM platforms, low impact on device performance, and comprehensive protection against network, phishing, application, and device threats. The centralized management console also provides good visibility into security events and policy compliance.

What do you dislike about the product?

The troubleshooting can be complex, and diagnosing integration or connectivity issues between the MTD backend and the MDM platform could be more straightforward. The reporting and log visibility could also be improved for faster root cause analysis.

Zimperium Mobile Threat Defense helps us protect corporate mobile devices from phishing, malicious apps, network attacks, and device compromise. Its integration with Ivanti enables automated compliance actions, improving our overall mobile security posture while reducing manual intervention.

What do you like best about the product?

Its most helpful characteristic is that it secures our mobile fleet on three fronts: the device, the apps, and the network.

What do you dislike about the product?

I find it really unhelpful that we need to create a new console every time a new version is released. In our company, this ends up being treated as a new project, and it could be a reason for us to stop using this technology in the future.

It gives us a clear view of all the threats our mobile fleet faces, and it helps us manage them effectively.

I really value Zimperium Mobile Threat Defense for its intuitive user interface and rich integration capabilities. It is user-friendly, making it easy for both platform teams and end users to navigate and utilize effectively. I find it straightforward to deploy and maintain, which is crucial for ensuring a seamless user experience. Additionally, the ability to integrate smoothly with other tools such as Workspace One, Splunk, and Intune enhances its functionality and versatility, aligning perfectly with our existing systems. Its design and capabilities ensure that our corporate data remains secure across mobile devices managed through our Mobile Device Management (MDM) system, which is essential for protecting sensitive information. Given these strengths, I rate it a 10 out of 10, as I can’t fault it in any specific area.

What do you dislike about the product?

I find Zimperium Mobile Threat Defense lacking in its audit capabilities, particularly when it comes to audit logs for users granted privileged access.

Zimperium Mobile Threat Defense is used to protect corporate data on mobile devices with an intuitive UI and seamless integration, making it easy for both platform teams and end users to deploy and maintain.

What do you like best about the product?

I appreciate how Zimperium Mobile Threat Defense enables me to define application-managed security without the need to manage the entire end-user device. This feature is particularly valuable for implementing BYOD mobile security in our company to access corporate resources. I love how easy the platform is to use and administer, which simplifies our overall security management process. Furthermore, the service and support provided by Zimperium Mobile Threat Defense are impressively fast and effective. On several occasions over the past year, we have received excellent support responses in terms of both response speed and quality. This level of support greatly enhances our experience and confidence in using the solution.

What do you dislike about the product?

Dealing with different kinds of mobile devices sometimes requires special adjustments, preventing a single process for all devices. Additionally, it would be beneficial if the Mobile Threat Defense (MTD) install process could be separated from the corporate app install. A unified process within the MTD app to set up the environment for all relevant apps would greatly enhance usability.

I use Zimperium Mobile Threat Defense for company BYOD mobile security, providing managed application security without device oversight, simplifying admin tasks. It's easy to use, integrates well, and offers fast, effective support.

What do you like best about the product?

What I like most about Zimperium Mobile Threat Defense is the ease of implementation and excellent customer support. Plus, I appreciate that Zimperium actually listens to feedback and keeps improving their service based on what users need. It makes me feel confident that they care about their customers and are always working to make things better.

What do you dislike about the product?

While Zimperium Mobile Threat Defense does a solid job overall, there are a couple of areas that could use some improvement. For example, keeping track of active device numbers can be a bit tricky and sometimes feels more complicated than it should be. It would be helpful if there were easier ways to manage and monitor which devices are currently protected. Also, the console UI could definitely be more user-friendly
