Superhuman Turned My Inbox Into a Powerful To-Do List

    Reviewed on Aug 03, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
This is a tool that one me over as a skeptic of tools that replaced something I already thought I did pretty well. It started by having me save time reviewing and sorting my emails.

But where I get the most value are being able to truly utilize my inbox like a to-do list through the use of inboxes and reminders. I can get to "Inbox 0" without archiving an email I need to respond to next week - it'll simply reappear in my inbox on Monday with three presses.

The other feature that's been invaluable has been their collaboration. I can share an email with a colleague (even someone who doesn't use Superhuman) and they're able to leave internal-only visible comments or thoughts or context AND they'll be able to see future communication, even if I don't cc them on the thread. They could even respond if I happen to be out of office or are better suited to reply.

I've been impressed with their adoption of targeted and useful AI features, mostly centered around writing where the tool can spin you up a draft and will present you with a recommended reply on an email it suggests it's time to follow-up on.

Their onboarding process, especially for the desktop app, gamified onboarding and helped me get an initial handle on the new work streams, which over the course of a week, we turned into habits together.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, there isn't a lot I have to say in terms of critical feedback. The tool is simple and performs well and the product improvements and releases target areas that have a meaningful impact on my day to day.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Time and organization. I save hours a week managing my inbox but minimize risk by ensuring that I'm not missing important threads and am keeping those that I'm nurturing warm without needing to write it down or log a reminder somewhere else.

    Efficient, AI-Enhanced Email Management

    Reviewed on Aug 03, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
I love the efficiency of Superhuman Mail. It's built really well, simple but powerful. The AI is very good, with a great tone of voice that's better than other AI tools I've used. The layout is clean and simple, which I appreciate. The shortcut keys are very good and make navigating easier. I also find the straightforward display of unread emails helpful. The AI drafting feature saves me a lot of time by generating responses based on what I would normally say, allowing me to send responses without much editing.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the mobile could be a bit better. I'm not quite sure what it's hard to place, but it's about the AI. Isn't as intuitive, and there's certain things that I know are gonna be easier for me to do on the desktop app. Then sometimes it consumes quite a lot of RAM. So they can make it maybe just a little bit more efficient. Like, when I've got a couple of mails open in tabs, then it will often consume two or three gigs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Superhuman Mail helps me respond quickly with AI drafting, creates calendar events, and enhances efficiency with shortcuts. It ingests my email history, providing context for realistic responses, saving me over two hours weekly.

Superhuman Mail: Lightning Fast Email Management

    Reviewed on Aug 03, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
I love how Superhuman Mail helps me confidently manage my emails without missing an important one. The speed and simplicity are fantastic, making my inbox management almost effortless. I've memorized all the hot keys, and they're now part of my muscle memory, allowing me to triage my inbox really fast. I appreciate the thoughtfully designed experience and the smart inbox filters that let me process emails faster and achieve inbox zero daily. The MCP server integration with AI helps draft replies in my tone, ensuring emails don't feel like AI slop. It keeps learning with every edit, so I rarely have to make changes. The integration with AI is very good, helping me draft responses and manage operations efficiently. The initial setup was extremely easy, and personal onboarding was a bonus.
What do you dislike about the product?
The search functionality on Superhuman Mail, particularly on mobile, sometimes takes a while. This occasionally forces me to switch to the native Gmail application to find emails. On desktop, however, search works quite well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Superhuman Mail helps me avoid email fatigue, reach inbox zero faster, and process emails quickly with hot keys and AI integrations. It boosts my confidence that I won't miss important emails.

Superhuman Mail Is a Game-Changer: Inbox Splits, AI, and Lightning-Fast Replies

    Reviewed on Jul 31, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful things we've found about using Superhuman Mail is the inbox splits, the built-in AI, the ability to reply to emails much faster, communicate between threads, and bulk unsubscribing to marketing emails. It's been a game changer so far! Also we have absolutely loved the support we've received from our onboarding manager Debra!
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing at present is the mobile app UI.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's helping us to clear and organize our inboxes so much more efficiently. We also use the 'between threads' team comms daily, and it's just super helpful with our internal workflow.

Supercharges Email Management with Speed and AI

    Reviewed on Jul 31, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
I love using Superhuman Mail because it helps me get through my inbox faster by highlighting the emails that really matter, and allowing me to quickly find emails later. The speed is a huge factor, since I receive a ton of email, and the native Mac client just can't keep up with searching a large volume of email the way Superhuman can. I can get through my inbox in probably a quarter of the time. The AI search feature is excellent, and the keyboard shortcuts are also a big help. I'm just getting started with the Claude integration, but it's very promising and I think with some tweaking, I can have a fantastic workflow that integrates my email more directly into my other activities. While Superhuman has some great built-in AI, connecting Claude enables me to do things like respond to emails with context-based answers and create tasks in Omnitask from an email. I've used several other email clients, and they're all basically the same – inbox, folders, drag and drop. Superhuman is very innovative, and once I got the hang of the product, I never looked back! Setup was trivially easy, though the UI was very different from typical email programs, so there was a bit of a learning curve.
What do you dislike about the product?
I had previously sent a feature request for Asana integration because I think it would help a lot of people by allowing tasks to be created directly from email. Although I've found a workaround via Claude, having this feature would be convenient. Also, while the setup was trivially easy, the UI was different enough from typical email programs that there was a bit of a learning curve to get up to speed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I get through my inbox 4x faster, thanks to the speed, AI search, and keyboard shortcuts. Superhuman Mail makes managing emails and tasks efficient by highlighting important emails and integrating with tools like Claude for context-based actions.

Superhuman puts email in service of your workday - not the other way around

    Reviewed on Jul 30, 2026

What do you like best about the product?
Superhuman is an email program clearly developed by people who want email to serve the rest of their work day, not vice versa.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have any quibbles about Superhuman Mail.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Superhuman Mail allows me to more quickly and effectively review and respond to email correspondence, including handling scheduling in a fraction of the time required via Outlook.

Fast, Stable, and Intuitive—A Real Time-Saver

    Reviewed on Jul 29, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
Responsiveness of interface, stability, speed of processing, good offline capabilities, keyboard shortcuts, easy to figure things out.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's a bit pricy, but with sufficient email volume / time saved, clearly worth it. Also, resource usage (esp. memory) could be improved I believe, on both MacOS and iOS.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allows me to quickly go through my email, prioritise, make sure important stuff is followed up. Superhuman + habits it helped me instill (during onboarding, now maybe 5y ago) allow me to feel on top of my email almost all the time.

Blazing-Fast Email Triage with Split Inbox, Snippets, and Smart Send Later

    Reviewed on Jul 29, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
The speed is the whole point, and it delivers. Once you commit to the keyboard shortcuts and stop reaching for the mouse, triaging email gets dramatically faster. Split Inbox is the feature I'd miss most if I switched away; separating VIPs, calendar, and news from everything else means I actually see what matters first. Snippets save me from retyping the same replies, Send Later with the built-in "cancel if they reply first" logic is smarter than it sounds, and Undo Send has saved me more than once. The newer AI additions — Auto Labels, Auto Archive, and AI-drafted replies in my own voice — have cut down the manual sorting noticeably. It also works across both Gmail and Outlook, and the native desktop apps feel like real software, not a browser tab.

On top of the product itself, the Superhuman team is genuinely responsive and helpful — they ship regular updates with new features aimed at getting through the inbox even faster, and it's clear they're actively improving the experience rather than letting it stagnate.
What do you dislike about the product?
The price is hard to ignore - it's several times what most email tools cost, and if you don't live in your inbox, you probably won't get your money's worth. There's a real learning curve at the start; the first week or two of forcing yourself onto shortcuts is genuinely slower before it becomes faster. And because so much of the value is in muscle memory and workflow, it's the kind of tool you have to fully commit to for it to pay off - dabbling won't cut it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solves inbox overwhelm and the time drain of email. I handle a high volume of messages daily, and the combination of keyboard-driven triage, split inbox prioritization, and AI auto-sorting means I get through my inbox in a fraction of the time it used to take. The follow-up reminders make sure nothing important slips, and the overall effect is that email stops being the thing that eats my morning.

What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy Superhuman Mail is to use. I love the shortcuts, and once they are ingrained, they become second nature. It saves me a lot of time because I'm able to jump between emails, respond, and save them for later with ease. The split inbox feature helps me sort what I need to review now versus later. The AI functionality is amazing because it helps me respond quickly with drafts in my own voice. I also appreciate how quickly and efficiently I can manage follow-ups compared to other inbox providers. The initial setup was very easy with an onboarding call where the team walked me through the shortcuts in a hands-on and helpful manner.
