Faster market data has improved our quant execution and reduces time spent managing feeds

    Reviewed on Oct 21, 2026
Review from a verified AWS customer

What is our primary use case?

We run some quantitative strategies on Binance and OKX, both spot and perpetual contracts. We want a faster data source with more stable connections.

How has it helped my organization?

Before this, we were just pulling the exchanges’ public WebSocket feeds. Most of the time that was fine, but the average speed of Sytus Feed is obviously on another level. Also, when the market got crazy, the data from public connections would lag or arrive in bursts. We don't have to babysit our own WebSocket connections anymore, which honestly saves us a lot of headaches.

    What is most valuable?

The most valuable thing for me is that they publish live latency charts comparing their feed against the regular internet route. I can check the numbers myself before paying, which made me trust them more.

    What needs improvement?

Weekend support would be great. More supported exchanges would be great as well. Some kind of backup feed in case the main one has issues to switch on manually or automatically.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been using the solution for about 12 months now.

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

It's not cheap, so I recommend doing the one-month trial first before signing up for a full year. If you need lots of symbols, the bigger plans are cheaper per symbol, and you can ask them for a custom price. Don't forget you'll also pay for your own AWS servers on top of this.

Which other solutions did I evaluate?

We thought about building our own setup in the exchanges’ regions, but it would’ve taken a lot more time, money, effort, and people to do so.

What other advice do I have?

Test it against what you're using now before committing. If your strategy really depends on speed, it's worth it. If you're not trading that frequently, the free public feeds might be good enough.

If public cloud, private cloud, or hybrid cloud, which cloud provider do you use?

    Amazon Web Services (AWS)
