  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I really like Dropbox as it is very intuitive and it is very fast. I use it to quickly share files across my teammates. It's made sharing design files feel less stressful. I also use its note/doc feature as it is very simple and intuitive and don't have lots of noise. It is super reliable which is very helpful in my workflow. The support is actually there at a glance so if you have any problems, Dropbox is ready to have some customer support for you. I like when you can also view some of the file types like Adobe files inside of it so you don't have to download it to view the creative file.
What do you dislike about the product?
The amount of storage isn't too generous. I understand their business model is different from the competitors. I hope they give more features and more value for what you pay for.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is my go to storage for transferring to my colleagues and brainstorming with my ideas on my projects in the company. It gives me a breather space to generate ideas, store ideas, and share ideas. Love it!

Effortless Collaboration and Reliable Syncing

  • May 14, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Dropbox for storing, syncing, and sharing files across devices. It’s especially useful for backing up important documents, collaborating on projects, and accessing files remotely without needing a physical drive. Dropbox helps solve problems related to file storage, accessibility, and collaboration. It allows me to securely store files in the cloud, access them from different devices, and share large files easily with others. I like its simplicity and reliable file syncing. Files update quickly across devices, sharing is easy, and the interface is clean and straightforward, which makes collaboration and accessing important documents very convenient. The simplicity of Dropbox makes it easy to organize, upload, and access files without needing much setup or technical knowledge. Reliable file syncing is valuable because changes made on one device are updated quickly across other devices, which helps avoid version confusion and ensures I always have access to the latest files. The initial setup of Dropbox was quite easy for both me and the team. Installing the desktop app and signing in took only a few minutes, and the folder syncing process was straightforward. Sharing folders, inviting team members, and accessing files across devices worked smoothly without requiring much technical setup or training. I use Dropbox with tools like Microsoft Office, Google Docs, Adobe Acrobat, and Visual Studio Code. It integrates well with these applications, making file sharing, backups, and collaboration more convenient across different workflows.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some things that could be improved in Dropbox are the limited free storage space and the pricing of higher-tier plans. Large file syncing can occasionally feel slow depending on internet speed, and the desktop app can sometimes use noticeable system resources in the background. More customization and collaboration features in the free version would also make it more useful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Dropbox for storing, syncing, and sharing files. It solves problems of file storage, accessibility, and collaboration by securely storing files, easy sharing, and reducing data loss risk. Its simplicity and reliable syncing make collaboration convenient and ensures I have access to the latest files.
