What do you like best about the product?

I like the synchrony of Laserfiche. It's a quick way for us to gather information and have a record of it on both sides for the person submitting the information as well as the person receiving it. The synchrony allows a lot of options, such as the ability to have dropdowns where you're able to select information. This feature is extremely helpful because the dropdown makes it easier to fill out forms properly. Training on the initial setup was effective, and it didn't take us long to utilize Laserfiche. I appreciate how it helps with scheduling and form completion, acting as a very good productivity tool, allowing everyone to access the necessary forms and ensuring both submitters and receivers get a copy.

What do you dislike about the product?

Sometimes, Laserfiche crashes, which causes some problems when it's not up and working properly. We have to go to a manual method of tracking appointments and form completion. It doesn't happen very often, but when it does crash or it's not available because the systems aren't working, it does create an inconvenience.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

I use Laserfiche mainly for scheduling and form completion. It's a productivity tool that lets us access and have copies of our submitted forms for both submitters and receivers, enabling synchrony and efficient information gathering.

The new AI features have reduced the amount of data entry required by our staff. Also, the workflows and business processes have helped automate our processes.

The initial integration was slow and learning curve was steep, but once we got past the slow adoption, it's been great.

It has allowed us to increase employee performance through reduced data entry, and makes finding documents so much easier.

If you don't keep the pdf version of a file, downloading the tiff makes a pdf of unmanageable file size

I love how powerful Laserfiche is behind the scenes. I also appreciate its high connectivity, which saves time and lets us integrate with our database.

The interface could be more user-friendly. The capabilities and options are hidden behind other actions.

I like that Laserfiche is easy to use and the learning process is good. I appreciate the features that automate metadata, and I'm also pleased with the ability to use AI features.

I like that I can use the AI features, but it would be nice if they could use more of them per page.

Laserfiche lets us create a folder structure, giving the right people access while keeping others out.

What do you dislike about the product?

The training platform, Aspire, can sometimes be clunky to use. Also, co-authoring for self-hosted users is nearly non-existent.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Laserfiche AI features, specifically Smart Fields is helping us extract metadata from large volume documents. This has turned a potential 3-month data entry project into a 1-day real-world project, saving us thousands of dollars and time.

We are on prem and feel like we are missing all the new features. This has made us start to look at switching to cloud.

I dislike the cost that is associated with migrating from on-premises to the cloud.
