Migration to managed infrastructure has reduced costs and simplifies daily operations

What is our primary use case?

We were using Amazon EC2 instances for our day-to-day life activities and also some of their services like S3, IAM, and CloudWatch with Simudyne SDK on Amazon Linux 2023.

I'm not currently working with Simudyne SDK on Amazon Linux 2023, but I had experience with it. For example, if someone's account had been getting locked, we would unlock their accounts, and if we wanted to bring up a new EC2 instance, we would handle those things as infrastructure work.

Simudyne SDK on Amazon Linux 2023 was deployed as a private cloud in my organization.

What is most valuable?

In my opinion, the best features of Simudyne SDK on Amazon Linux 2023 are that it was quick, fast, robust, and very easy to use. A non-technical person would understand it very quickly.

The EC2 instance was very easy to use when compared to GCP, which is what makes Simudyne SDK on Amazon Linux 2023 so user-friendly. I have experience with GCP as well, but Amazon is very easy and fast.

We have saved a lot of cost by having Amazon's in-built infrastructure with Simudyne SDK on Amazon Linux 2023. Instead of creating our own servers or giving access to users on those servers, which was very difficult, it was very easy to use Amazon, and we simply pay them.

What needs improvement?

Simudyne SDK on Amazon Linux 2023 is pretty much good overall. It would be much better if the same features were also available on GCP. However, Amazon Linux is very good and does not require significant improvements.

I have two years of experience using Simudyne SDK on Amazon Linux 2023.

What was our ROI?

We have definitely seen a return on investment with Simudyne SDK on Amazon Linux 2023. Money and time were saved with this purchase. Instead of having our own infrastructure, we took it from Amazon, and it was a good purchase for us. I believe we saved approximately $150,000 in a year.

The cost savings from using Simudyne SDK on Amazon Linux 2023 compared to building our own infrastructure would be around $40,000 to hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Which other solutions did I evaluate?

I did not evaluate other options before choosing Simudyne SDK on Amazon Linux 2023. It was a company decision to use this solution.

What other advice do I have?

My overall experience with Simudyne SDK on Amazon Linux 2023 has been all good.

If people want to go with an SDK on Amazon, I believe Simudyne SDK on Amazon Linux 2023 is the best one available. Amazon is the best in the market. I have been working with Google and have experience with Amazon, and Amazon SDK is easy to use. Simudyne SDK on Amazon Linux 2023 is very fast and easy to learn for a newcomer.
