What do you like best about the product?

I think the best part of Ingentis org.manager is its flexibility and customization capabilities. It can be customized at any level, which is incredibly beneficial for our specific needs. The consultants are very helpful in guiding us through the configuration options. The tool provides a user experience that is easy and intuitive, making it simple to access and understand data, which is key for navigating our organization's structure. Additionally, the setup wasn’t hard at all with the guidance of Ingentis' consultants, allowing us to be up and running quickly. This ease of setup and the ability to extensively customize the tool to enhance the user experience have been standout benefits.

What do you dislike about the product?

On rare occasions the user experience provided by Ingentis org.manager doesn't match our stakeholders' vision. This has happened a couple of times. However, the support team is very helpful in addressing these issues, whether by planning enhancements into their product roadmap or finding workarounds. We've never encountered a complete blocker and have always been able to provide feedback for tool improvements, which are continuously delivered.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Ingentis org.manager solves visualization of reporting lines and facilitates organization analytics, simulation, and scenario creation for our organization. It's flexible, customizable, and provides an intuitive user experience, improving access to organization data and understanding of our organization for our employees, executives and HR teams.

What do you like best about the product?

By using the org.manager, we can focus more on the truly important tasks and thus increase value creation. The time savings are enormous, and the presentation is clear and well-structured. A central information platform for executives increases transparency and strengthens company-wide networking and collaboration. The usability is simple and requires no extensive training. The support responds quickly and competently, leaving no wishes unfulfilled. And the org.manager helps to improve one's own org management and elevate it to a new level (Single Point of Truth).

What do you dislike about the product?

Currently, the dependency on support... extend the search function in the Supervisor Board to include people, not just organizational units.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Laborious reporting in Excel is minimized; error sources are minimized through the interface to SAP; central availability and up-to-date data.

The org.manager quickly provides an overview of the business units. Additionally, organizational charts can be displayed quickly and easily.

What do you dislike about the product?

Joint operations cannot be displayed as sub-units due to the rigid SAP-ORG mapping.

As a corporation, we have many companies. With org.manager, it is possible to represent the corporation as a whole within an organizational structure. Furthermore, it allows quick and clear access to corporate companies and the display of organizational charts.

Excellent customer service as well as high flexibility and reliability.

I have nothing to complain about ingentis.

The representation of our entire organizational structure as well as the provision of KPI dashboards for our executives and the HR department.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Ingentis org.manager solves the challenge for us of making complex organizational structures transparent and analyzable. Instead of manually evaluating organizational charts and data in Excel or PowerPoint, we receive up-to-date and visualized information directly from our HR systems. The greatest benefit for us lies in the time savings, higher data quality, and the ability to simulate reorganizations or structural changes in advance. This way, we can support management and HR business partners with data-based analyses and strategically steer organizational development.

It is a helpful and easy-to-use visualization tool and works with a time-tested interface to SAP.

What do you dislike about the product?

The licensing model has changed, which poses challenges for users who make extensive use of the application.

Visualization of organizational structures, job architectures, Headcount & FTE reporting, HR controlling, HR analytics and planning

The tool stands out for its flexibility and robustness, and it’s backed by the vendor’s consistently reliable support model.

There are no usage metrics available, and users aren’t notified when their session times out.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

The ability to simulate the future state of the org structure during reorganizations and other mass change events, along with the delivery of key metrics, helps business leaders and HR make more informed decisions.

the quick, prompt and clearly overview of the SAP personnel master data (chart)

What do you dislike about the product?

Dislike? Not really, but please could you improve the download functionalities especially for excel users and the selection of data that the user intends to download or to check. Checking data in excel can save time e.g. in the controlling department. Otherwise you have to check all the charts which can be time consuming in bigger companies e.g. regarding checking of master data changes in the context of re-organizations (sometimes the HR department presents preliminary changes to check).

But something could be helpful in the org.manager:
Could you add an overview / list which demonstrates cost center changes of the employees in a selected time period/interval (name, cost center old/new, month, year) - based on the current SAP master data.
In our company many people have access to the org.manager on our intranet website and this could be very helpful for many people and would save a lot of time regarding the handling of company cars, travel costs, posting of invoices, creating purchase orders etc.
If such a tool already exists, please let me know.

There are so many opportunities to visualize your organizational charts. You will never get out of ideas and let your creativity run free.

The tool has a lot of helpful features, but therefore in some cases it is very complex. So sometimes it is a bit difficult to find the right way to install a new perspective. Luckily our contact person has helped us with every problem.

Sometimes you need a lot of time to find a solution for little problems. But when you have find them, the visualization is almost perfect.
