Easy, reliable, secure
What do you like best about the product?
Aptible allows me to configure and deploy my services and databases in a straightforward way, knowing that my containers are running in secure environments while still having the flexibility to scale them and create/deprovision them as necessary without having to wait on support staff to execute changes for me.
What do you dislike about the product?
At times, we look at AWS's growing services offerings and wonder whether we might want to migrate there eventually. From ECS all the way up to Lambda, there are some interesting offerings that are all now HIPAA-compliant... but, we'd still have to implement all the backups and network security ourselves, and there is peace of mind (both ours and our enterprise healthcare customers') knowing that Aptible has the security side covered.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Aptible to make deployment easy and streamlined, while operating in a constrained and secure environment. This gives us the confidence to deploy frequently and quickly, while also keeping our enterprise healthcare customers satisfied that we are proceeding in a safe manner that meets all their compliance regulations.

What do you like best about the product?
The simplicity with which you can set up new environments, balanced with the flexibility and the very accessible human support
What do you dislike about the product?
The simplicity can sometimes take away control. Also, there are not as many tools as one needs so for a lot of pieces have to fall back on AWS directly
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

What do you like best about the product?
Aptible makes it easy to create an ideal CI/CD environment for a software engineering team.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not _quite_ as turnkey/easy as ... some similar platforms that lack the level of sophisticated compliance. (It's close, though.)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The chief benefit is not needing to hire a devops team to manage our infrastructure. After a bit of work, we can manage it fairly easily ourselves, saving our business quite a bit of money, time, and general heartache.

What do you like best about the product?
The way the dashboard is set up for aptible is very clean and easy to navigate to where we want to. The analytics that it provides is really helpful and gives you an overview of your box

I am yet to explore aptible to dislike something :)

secure site is mandatory for our work--having it easily accessed is a big plus. we can also easily add on when needed

Perhaps the access to services can be made more friendly, but it works well for us right now--so there is little to dislike

Seamless DevOps with security that gives me peace of mind
What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy using Aptible's Enclave + Gridiron products because they help me streamline painful vendor security assessments. As a small startup, we need to move fast, and focus on product engineering. Having Aptible automate and orchestrate the DevOps and OpSec (to some extent) helps the company move faster without sacrificing security.
What do you dislike about the product?
Enclave and Gridiron products are really expensive.

Excellent product, little tiny flaws
What do you like best about the product?
Everything just works. Setting up is a breeze, and the features we use (git integration, docker, certificate management) are intuitive
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a few features I would like: ability to restart a service without a code push; ability to restart/upgrade a database without contacting support; a reduction in the minimum disk space (we are at the minimum and our app < 100 MB, so the disk is 90% empty);
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Patient Experience and recovery, care coordination and management.
Easy-to-use protections for healthcare data
What do you like best about the product?
Handles HIPAA compliance standards, encryption / low-level data protection with minimal difficulty / workload on our part. Streamlined with good documentation. Easy to get a business associates agreement, have been very helpful with software and other issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
Very little - it has been a very smooth process to use
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Meets HIPAA's recommended standards for data protection with minimal work and cost on our part. Has been easy to get our service off the ground and conduct multiple clinical trials.
Out of the box HIPAA-compliant Application
What do you like best about the product?
We've used Aptible to host our application for ~3 years now. During this time we've scaled flexibly, experienced zero down time, and have been privy to tremendous, timely support when we've needed it.
What do you dislike about the product?
If I were to improve anything about Aptible, I'd focus on improving the dashboard UX/UI. There are occasions when it's difficult to track down areas within the dashboard for handling certain use cases.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're making it possible for healthcare providers to record and distribute video content through an HIPAA-compliant web application.
We literally wouldn't be in business without Aptible
What do you like best about the product?
Aptible handles almost 90% of my devops requirements. This frees precious developer resources so that they can do what they love to do - develop great software.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was a way to scale-down the cost of Gridiron so that smaller companies like mine could afford to use some of its features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Aptible handles all of our HIPAA compliant web services hosting. They use industry standard Docker Containers which makes deployments simple and customization is straightforward. This frees up developer resources that would normally be used for devops. I can also rely on the experts at Aptible to ensure the system is secure. I've even had potential clients start their security review with "who is your hosting provider?" and when we answer "Aptible" they respond "Oh yes, that's a good start."
