Empowers Data-Driven Solutions with Customizable Integrations

  • April 24, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like that Sisense keeps testing the boundaries. It's a dev space for developers, almost like a sandbox, giving a lot of control unlike other BI tools. I specifically like all its integration features and I'm a big fan of the Compose SDK, which allows breaking out of standard designs for dashboards and widgets, giving full control of the look and feel of a brand. Sisense enables clients to combine and mesh different data easily with ElastiCubes and offers multiple types of embedding features, making the integration seamless and creating a modern look for end users. Since it's in the cloud, the initial setup was very simple.
What do you dislike about the product?
I definitely think dashboard sharing or code dashboard ownership gets a little wonky, a little weird. I also find that the integration and the Python integration can be a little difficult if you're just starting to use it. The documentation on the website itself could also be improved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Sisense to help my clients solve business problems with their data. It allows them to combine and mesh different data using ElastiCubes and offers embedding features for seamless integration into their platforms, creating a modern look for end users.

What do you dislike about the product?
Sisense seems quite cluttered, and there is no training provided, it seems.

User-Friendly and Functional, Needs More Features

  • April 01, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like that Sisense is a very good tool and really user-friendly. It's simple and easy to use, which makes the clients happy. Designing logical data models and dashboards is easy with Sisense, and it allows us to implement whatever the client asks. It's really helpful in improving user feedback and meeting client requirements. The Sisense support team was also very helpful in setting everything up smoothly. The tool also helps us to look into the data in a more clear way.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes Sisense is a bit slow and some functionalities, like some widgets, get blocked. For example, the scatter map doesn't always work as needed, and the date filter can be problematic. Also, we want more functionalities similar to other BI tools to get more insights from the data.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sisense helps us create dashboards for finance clients, tailored to their needs like finance segmentation and donor categories, enabling them to see data more clearly. It allows digging deeper into data, fulfilling user-specific requirements effectively.

Seamless White-Label Embedded Analytics That Scales with Us

  • March 12, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
We've been using Sisense for a few years now to embed analytics directly into our platform and the experience has been really positive. The ability to white-label dashboards and integrate them into our own product via the Compose SDK means our customers get a seamless analytics experience that feels native to what we've built. The flexibility to work with both live connections and ElastiCube models has been really valuable as our data architecture has evolved. The AI features like natural language querying are something our users genuinely get excited about. It's a platform that has scaled well with us and the support team has been responsive whenever we've needed them.
What do you dislike about the product?
Like any complex platform, there is a learning curve when you first get started, particularly around data modelling and the initial setup of embedded environments. Some of the more advanced configurations can take time to get right, and it's worth investing in onboarding properly to get the most out of it early on. Documentation has improved a lot over the years, but occasionally you need to dig a little deeper or lean on support for more niche use cases. These are fairly minor points for a platform of this depth and they haven't taken away from the overall experience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main problem Sisense solves for us is the ability to deliver analytics directly inside our product without having to build and maintain our own BI layer from scratch. Before Sisense, every new report or dashboard required significant engineering time, which slowed down our product roadmap and created ongoing technical debt. Sisense has taken that burden away entirely. Our customers now get a seamless, white-labelled analytics experience inside our platform, and our engineering team can focus on what they do best. The scalability has also been a huge benefit, as our user base has grown, Sisense has grown with us. The addition of AI features like natural language querying has been a bonus, making data more accessible to our less technical users and genuinely adding value to our product offering.

Flexible yet Lacks Specific Report Control

  • March 10, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate the flexibility Sisense provides by allowing me to incorporate JavaScript at both the dashboard and widget level. This feature gives me more control over how widgets interact with other elements on the dashboard. I also found the initial setup to be pretty easy. The user interface and pricing were factors that influenced our switch to Sisense from Looker.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's no widget level control for sending reports - it sends data for all the widgets on a dashboard.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Sisense to create a dynamic widget with custom field selection using JavaScript, allowing more control over widget interactions on the dashboard.

Interactive dashboards have transformed our KPI tracking and now guide data-driven decisions

  • February 17, 2026
  • Review from a verified AWS customer

What is our primary use case?

In my organization, we use Sisense for business intelligence, and it helps us with complex data from multiple sources and provides excellent insights, which makes it easy for us to make data-driven decisions.

Sisense solves a major issue like lack of actionable analytics, where we mainly use it for tracking all our key performance indicators and optimizing our sales pipelines for the future.

Sisense helps us monitor performance metrics and make informed decisions quickly, and it also helps us in creating reports for better understanding. It helps us to build dashboards for sales, marketing, and operations easily.

It is excellent for creating interactive dashboards that non-technical users can navigate, and it is also great for handling our extremely large data sets. For example, in our marketing teams, large data sometimes leads to slower performance that is frustrating.

What is most valuable?

Sisense has numerous valuable features to offer, with the fastest being its in-chip methodology, where large quantities of data can be loaded in a few seconds, which does not seem possible with other tools.

Customer support is straightforward and responsive, and data discovery is exceptional. Big data services are amazing and secure, and the easy integration of APIs is beneficial.

The in-chip methodology is very effective because it allows millions of data points to be loaded in a few seconds and processed, enabling us to make data-driven decisions through the insights gained.

Sisense has positively impacted my organization as it has been one of the best tools available. I believe this is true because of its effectiveness. Since we can connect multiple data sources, we are able to make data-driven decisions more easily, and we have improved our marketing and sales strategies.

What needs improvement?

There are some functionalities missing regarding built-in capabilities, which can only be added by using JavaScript, requiring technical knowledge from the dashboard designer to implement.

Additionally, technical support does not easily remote into our instances if we are hosting ourselves to diagnose issues quickly.

Sisense could have better connections to digital marketing tools, but I understand they are working on that.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been using Sisense for four years and a few months.

Which other solutions did I evaluate?

Sisense can process more data and has consistently better performance than other modern business intelligence tools, successfully retaining the best of the cube world and providing the power of a modern in-chip visualization engine, making it more valuable than other alternatives we evaluated in my organization.

What other advice do I have?

My advice for others looking into using Sisense is that it is well-suited for rapid data mashup for massive data sets and self-service business intelligence deployment with a very smooth user experience. I give this product a rating of eight out of ten.

Which deployment model are you using for this solution?

Public Cloud

Unified finance dashboards have accelerated data-driven decisions and improved forecasting

  • February 13, 2026
  • Review from a verified AWS customer

What is our primary use case?

Our main use case for Sisense is across our business finance models in the financial and accounting departments. We use it to develop and redesign the information stored in our project management software and our ERP systems for our company. It gives us the prospect to consolidate everything in a single, easy-to-manage tool. Sisense reduces the time it takes to obtain complex reports from many different data sources and controls a variety of formats in one single tool that enhances our BI platform and our internal and external resources delivered to our end clients seamlessly.

A specific example of how I use Sisense for our finance models and in project management is that it is a very robust and powerful, very accurate tool that helps to connect a wide variety of standard and unconventional databases or data sources. With proper assessment before its deployment, it delivers amazing dashboards and business reports that can consolidate different data sources, hence becoming a useful resource for both your business and your customer.

What is most valuable?

The best features Sisense offers include that it is fast due to its In-Chip methodology. It uses great visualization. BI becomes easy with Sisense. Millions of data can be loaded in a few seconds, which did not seem possible with other traditional reporting tools. It has a robust architecture and provides REST APIs to access it externally.

That speed impacts my workflow significantly as it represents the greatest step and latest in the business intelligence market. It provides In-Chip technology for accessing millions of data in the shortest span of seconds and provides the best visual efforts for our business data to make data-driven decisions easily.

Sisense has positively impacted my organization as it reduces the time it takes to obtain an optimal return on investments. It delivers the instant analysis required to merge our financial numbers and statistics with a pretty accurate dashboard landscape. Hence, we are able to make data-driven decisions easily.

Sisense has improved our decision-making speed and saved my team, especially the data team, time. They are able to focus on more strategic other tasks because Sisense has done the work of providing analytics and deep insights where we are able to make data-driven analytics easily.

What needs improvement?

Sisense can be improved as the usability of the application on mobile devices needs some improvement, especially navigation and filtering. Dashboards that are created by multiple users can be a bit of a hassle to share by the admins.

I would also add that there is no proper metrics regarding dashboards, tables, use, and workloads, effects optimization, and schema size.

The web version of the ElastiCube Manager does not do everything that the desktop application does and should be improved.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been using Sisense for the past five years.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

Sisense is very stable as I have not experienced any downtime.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

Sisense's scalability is impressive as it can crunch a lot more data and has consistently better performance, so it is very scalable.

How are customer service and support?

Sisense customer support is proactive and responsive.

How would you rate customer service and support?

Positive

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

I previously used a different solution before Sisense, which was Qlik Sense.

How was the initial setup?

My experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing is that it is cost-effective, but for smaller organizations working under a tight budget, this tool might be a bit expensive for them.

What about the implementation team?

I purchased Sisense through the AWS Marketplace.

What was our ROI?

I have seen a return on investment with Sisense as it is a dashboard tool that is great. It is very appropriate for delivering summary or exceptional data in a fashion that is easy to digest. It makes it very easy for us to make data-driven decisions and we are able to forecast our future predicament or future plans, hence increasing or boosting productivity in my organization.
