Jumio: reliable shield against fraud
What do you like best about the product?
Jumio looks simple and reliable tool for identity verification. It lets us be quiet and calm with our product. Besides I like Jumio's smart algorithms that are constantly improving.
What do you dislike about the product?
Jumio is still growing and developing product. But progress always goes together with bugs and issues. The most significant one happened a couple of weeks ago. One day Jumio team fully changed parameters for one request without sending us a notification about this. We spent half of a day developing, testing and deploying a hotfix but noticed that they rolled back after our request letter. Funny story with a happy end, one of the bright episodes in our routine :)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jumio Identity Verification helps us to prevent fraud, to stop scammers, and to make sure that the user who has passed the Jumio flow can be considered reliable.

Great Identity Verification SDK
What do you like best about the product?
Jumio's driver's license scanning interface is intuitive and smooth. Jumio's dashboard/portal is also very easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
In order to integrate Jumio into your processes, you need software development support. It's not a simple plug-and-play integration.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We solve the issue of customer verification and Know Your Customer. Knowing who is on the other end of our mobile app product is important for financial / risk / fraud reasons.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
As far as identity verification services, Jumio is a pretty safe bet. Be sure to have software developers at your disposal to integrate Jumio into your processes.
Effective product but latest version is a little buggy.
What do you like best about the product?
Its a very reliable software and its clean and simple which people need so they dont get confused or frustrated.
What do you dislike about the product?
Until this latest patch I've had no bad feedback, this latest patch however its been hanging up and being very slow compared to its previous patches

We use them for ID verification in iOS and android

What do you like best about the product?
The verification process is fast and simple. Doesn't take too long to upload the images/ videos to the cloud for verification. It accurately pulls the details from the ID even if the picture is a bit blurred out.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it makes you redo the verification even if the lighting is good. I don't think of it as an issue though. It is a little difficult to integrate into mobile apps initially, but I consider that part of the initial learning curve.

We have been able to identify and stop potential fraudulent activity on our application with the help of Jumio.

It's worth checking out. The features are specific to your needs and I believe it is customizable.

Accuracy and speed of verification. Easy to integrate. They keep improving their services.

All are good so far. However, it would be much better if they could enhance the identity verification processe via kiosks. However, they confirmed that they are working on something amazing that can overcome this challenge.

Jumio helps us to operate as an efficient factory. Speed and efficiency are some of the important gains that we have gained from using Jumio for customer onboarding, documents authenticity and customer identify verification.

What do you like best about the product?
The ease-of-use of the solution is what makes it really appreciated by both our customers and our colleagues. The customers journey takes only few minutes from end-to-end. The staff-facing interface is receiving applications results on a near real-time basis.
What do you dislike about the product?
If a customer is using the solution to confirm an identity but also to share any additional document (Document Management product), application is segregated into 2 different entries: one for the ID verification and the other one for the additional documents. This creates a risk of manual error if the internal staff does not notice that there are 2 parts of the application.
Integration with governmental data basis are not yet created and sometimes this is mandatory based on local regulation.

Jumio tool is a digital alternative when asking individuals to go to a branch to get identified. This is improving for customers' satisfaction by offering another channel of choice.
In addition, this solution helps in detecting potential fraudsters and consequently reducing the cost of Fraud for the Bank.

The service reliability is paramount, and we've always had satisfaction there. It was also great that Jumio worked with us on custom solutions to our specific problems.
What do you dislike about the product?
The pricing can sometimes be overly aggressive. Of course new features should command a premium for new accounts, but long-term partnerships should also be valued and features grandfathered accordingly.

Quick turnaround on identity verification; quick support for questions. ability to use both api and dashboard

inability to confirm direct upload of IDs occasionally which sometimes causes drop off of customers

with jumio we have been able to scale our product; minimize the go live of kyc'ing out customers. the sercice has been able to help verify customers from all over the world
