What do you like best about the product?
What stands out for me is the control it gives over file transfers. I can set up workflows, schedule them, and monitor everything from one place instead of managing multiple tools. It also handles encryption and supports different transfer methods, so we don’t have to worry about data security while moving files.
What do you dislike about the product?
The setup is not difficult, but it does take time to get everything right, especially when dealing with permissions and connections. The interface could also feel more modern, and working with large logs sometimes takes longer than expected.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Earlier, our team depended on manual processes and small scripts for file movement, which were hard to track and often failed. Now everything runs through one system with proper logging and alerts. What do you dislike about the product?
One downside of GoAnywhere MFT is that some advanced features may require additional configuration time, especially for users with limited technical knowledge. Additionally, while the Cloud Connector Marketplace is great, the number of connectors available for certain niche applications could be expanded.

One thing that doesn't work as smoothly for us is performance with very large batches of data. Sometimes you can feel a bit of latency when processing heavy transfers; it's not a constant issue but it can slow things down when dealing with especially large datasets. Another area that could be improved is the transformation process; some transformation steps require external processing instead of being handled fully within the system. It would be more convenient if everything could be managed in one place without relying on additional tools.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that GoAnywhere MFT allows us to build 'projects,' which are automated scripts to move, copy, or delete files at a granular level. It's great for creating a streamlined automated process, especially since we have many files and reports created daily within our EMR system that need sharing. GoAnywhere MFT works perfectly as a middleware solution for our file transfer needs. I also appreciate that it works with SharePoint, which we've migrated to as our main file management platform. The product is not too difficult to set up from an IT perspective, though help from the IT team is needed for enterprise-level use. The versatility in handling different file transfer methods is a big plus. Even though we don’t utilize it to its full potential, I would still rate it a 9 out of 10 for recommendation.
What do you dislike about the product?
I know that there is an Outlook add-in for GoAnywhere but it would be nice to have a small lite version of a GoAnywhere client to assist with general FTP uses.

The advanced safety functions, like end-to-end encryption and multi-factor authentication, are great. The high-speed file transfers with the option to accelerate file transfer are also very helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
We have not had any setbacks while working with GoAnywhere MFT. All the file transfer services we have been getting are outstanding and there has been no issues to deal with.
