CENTURY 21 Helps Buyers and Sellers Navigate the Real Estate Market

The moment has finally arrived—after months of searching, you found the perfect home, or perhaps the perfect buyer for your listing. You feel a surge of excitement as you discuss your options with your real estate agent, but at the same time, a nagging sense of uncertainty gnaws at you. Would something go wrong during the transaction? How could you be sure that the buyer or seller is trustworthy? Is the property truly worth the cost?

As a seller, you're likely hoping to get the highest offer for your property while minimizing the time it spends on the market. As a buyer, you want to find the best home at the best price. With so much at stake, it's no wonder that the prospect of buying or selling a piece of property can feel overwhelming.

CENTURY 21 France is helping buyers and sellers navigate the complex real estate market on Amazon Web Services (AWS). Powered by cloud technologies, its mobile app helps buyers find out how much a house costs, and helps sellers appraise their properties. With just a few taps, users can access accurate information about a listing, which helps them make informed decisions when buying or selling property.

To generate these results, the CENTURY 21 app collects personal data from buyers and sellers. However, ensuring that this data is readily available to facilitate quick, timely responses has been a significant challenge. In 2018, CENTURY 21 and the AWS team joined forces to overcome this obstacle and enhance the app’s availability and performance. With these improvements in place, users can access the information they need at a much faster pace.

Buyers and sellers can enjoy a smoother, more efficient experience when engaging in real estate transactions. To streamline its data processing and deliver faster, more accurate results for users, CENTURY 21 uses AWS services to centralize its data in the form of images. When an image is implemented on AWS, it becomes immediately available on a global scale without the need for special treatment or configuration. As a result, CENTURY 21 can deliver valuable data to the multiple systems that power its application, facilitating seamless communication and information sharing.

The results have been impressive—response times have been slashed from 5–10 minutes to just 2–3 seconds. And by using robust AWS infrastructure, CENTURY 21 is confident that no data is lost and that accurate results are delivered to its users. Buyers and sellers alike can trust the CENTURY 21 app to help them make informed decisions about their real estate transactions at any time, from anywhere.
