Media & Entertainment demo sessions
At the 2023 NAB Show, AWS demonstrated end-to-end capabilities spanning across five solution areas: Content Production; Media Supply Chain & Archive; Broadcast; Direct-to-Consumer & Streaming; and Data Science & Analytics to help customers ‘Create, Deliver & Monetize’.
At the booth, these demos showcased how source content and data can be created with Content Production and Live Production, delivered to audiences via Broadcast, Streaming, and OTT, and monetized via services and solutions within both the Direct-to-Consumer and Data Science & Analytics solution areas.
Content Production
Explore an interconnected production and post-production environment that shows how customers can create content faster with cloud-based infrastructure. Get a peek at the making of a short film called “Race to the Cloud” that demonstrates an end-to-end studio in the cloud workflow on AWS and features a production-ready cloud-based film making pipeline.
Broadcast
Simplify broadcast and event production in the cloud. See how AWS solves for live remote production, playout, and next-generation distribution through a demonstration that starts with NAB attendees kicking a sensor-filled soccer ball into a real-world goal. The demonstration steps through a complete workflow from contribution to playout in a simulated broadcast environment.
Direct-to-Consumer & Streaming
Deliver personalized content and advertising experiences to consumers with streaming workflows built on AWS. Learn how to create an engaging end-user experience by delivering personalized free ad-supported TV (FAST) channel programming as well as tailored advertising to viewers in the context of complete OTT solutions.
Media Supply Chain & Archive
An event-driven media workflow orchestration system powered by AWS and AWS Partners highlights archive migration, MAM modernization, media processing, metadata management, and localization. A fast follow VOD workflow for broadcast built on AWS demonstrates operational efficiency and increased monetization opportunities.
Data Science & Analytics
Build machine learning (ML) models with AWS services like Amazon Personalize using business rules. Rules make it easy to customize content, personalize recommendations, and display to users what is of most interest to them. This demonstration also includes an explanation of AWS Clean Rooms for multi-party, privacy-enhanced data collaboration for advertising applications.
Media & Entertainment panel sessions
In addition to the booth demos, AWS also hosted and participated in a number of panels and speaking engagements ranging from the technical to the broadly applicable that NAB attendees won’t want to miss. Listed below are some key sessions highlighting AWS’s storytelling alongside customers & partners during the exhibition.
