What do you like best about the product?
The amount possibilities, Wowza’s API gives us the flexibility to integrate with Amazon S3 for storage and Wowza CDN for reliable, high-quality streaming. As a streaming company, we rely on it to keep everything running smoothly without hassle. We can't see another competitor offering the same as Wowza provides to our company.
What do you dislike about the product?
As a heavy wowza user I don't have much to complain, our company gets what we pay for, but I would say that the pricing structure could be more accommodating for startups and smaller organizations. Luckily our company can cover the bills just fine, but I can't see how that would apply for smaller companies with less budget.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a livestreaming company serving 700 customers, we heavily depends on Wowza Streaming Engine and Wowza CDN to power our operations reliably. The biggest problem Wowza solves for us is providing a stable, scalable, and feature-rich platform that eliminates the need for extensive in-house development.
Without Wowza, we’d have to build a custom streaming infrastructure from scratch, which would be costly, time-consuming, and require constant maintenance. Instead, we leverage Wowza’s powerful API to automate key processes like recording, scheduling, and content delivery
